I hope you enjoy tonight's video. Please check out my friend Patrick's RU-vid channel here and give him a good ol' sub for The Chigg. Thanks for watching! ru-vid.com
Chigg, what have you done to that poor girl? Her fella gonna be off detecting on the weekends, bringing home treasure along with really dirty laundry. But much respect for sharing your knowledge and enthusiasm with them. How cool would it be to be taught by the Chigg.
What a beautiful woods/ravine area you were digging in. Love the beech trees and leaves on the ground. That said, Patrick and his enthusiasm made the video for me.
Christopher Gilleland yep. I have been blessed with three digs and meeting him early in the morning for a 4th. Check out my channel and you can see....
Yes it was a great day. The chigg got me hooked for sure and I went out and got the ace 400 and a pro pointer and I've already got one permission under my belt looking for my next one.
Yay! I've learned so much from Professor Chigg! I even knew what the canteen spout was before he said it. Only because he has shown us before. Ready for our next lesson.
What an Awesome Mentor you are! So kind of you to help out that guy. Thanks for the nice autumn hunt shown here. Felt like I was right with you. Really nice area. Gold fever! 🤩. Cool! What do you think of that coil you are using in this video compared to the stock one?
Hi Chigg, always enjoy watching your videos.......your the man! I wish I could have you teach me how to find stuff. Keep making them and I'll keep watching. Your fan and friend Debee
Just got my AT Pro today, and here you post a vid with good advice for how to detect. Thanks! I'll be playing tomorrow with the AT Pro. Wish I had a gold mine on my farm, I'll have to be happy with broken plow blades and stuff like that though.
Really neat video I love when you say What is it? Lol even I get excited to see what it is? I really learned a lot from your videos thank you . Patricia
Nice lesson, you give good calm instructions. I found a cheap little Metel detector and the kids have been out scanning everything. So much fun and a whole lot of focus. Thank you 👍🏼 #thefinders
I just love the excitement on Patrick's face. Still watching Beau. Awesome canteen spout! Interesting tree carvings. I always wondered how long ago they used F slang.
I love the cave series. Would love to see more cave exploration series. Could you maybe explore a more known cave that is taller. Maybe to in deep that would be a fun watch. Love the channel. Will like more videos. Much love from bc Canada
You have found the very first Civil War can of Dr Thunder. Lol. I would so love to learn to detect. There were lots of Indians on and around our property and there is legend of a secret silver mine here also. And we live right on a creek.
The way the back of that axe head is flared out is an indication it has been used to hit something. It may have been used to drive wedges to fell trees or split wood for fence posts.
Hi new to your channel from Ireland. Love watching you. I love finding things as well I sometimes find nice things on the beach thank you for sharing your fines
Great videos!! I have an AT Pro and im learning all i can from you. Thanks for the tips and the fun of watching your digs. Do you have any good pitches for permission to dig private properties
The first gold strike in the U.S. Was in fact along the upper Potomac river, Virginia also has the world's largest known deposit of uranium, but state environmental laws prohibit mining it.
As of right now, I'm on a tight budget and work a lot. Not a whole lot of free time. So I bought a cheap MD3010ii off of ebay. So if I never stuck with the Hobby I wouldn't cry for losing a lot of money. I'm not overly impressed with my machine. I did happen to see that Costco has a Discovery 3300 detector for about $100 and it had quite a few features. Made in the 🇺🇸. Good reviews on RU-vid. Definitely better than the one I have.
Time is an issue. I end up going out in the dark with a head torch after work. Well if you think the hobbies for you save up and get a simplex best detector under $400. Think its $250 over there. Warranty excellent
Unfortunately,, my wife is disabled and I am a truck driver. So when I get home I usually have a whole list of things to do. Pair that up with a quite a few medical bills on top of regular bills means not much fun time for me. I would definitely like to get a fully submersible machine someday. I got a lot of waters nearby that I would like to detect. So in the meantime, I'll have to watch everybody else on RU-vid. Thanks for your input and suggestions.
I'm going to a waterfall when soon.Probably the first frost to dangerous to go now. No one has ever been there and I'm going to pan it to. Many rattle snakes in the area. And to far from medical help. But I do have permission. Even the land owner has only seen it once in 30 years. Plus it is on the trail of tears. I've already uncovered a different site where many years of tribes would make the tools. Good luck chigger. Happy hunting.
dr thunder is walmart dr pepper. if they split firewood they can use a wedge to split the big ones and they could break the ax if they hit it wrong... js ( i was raised on a farm and had to split wood myself)we didnt use the ax for that we used a sledge but ive seen people use the but end of the ax
There is a story behind the tree with dates and so on. I had a tree down by the branch carved like that. Way back in the woods. It was were Grand dad had his liquor still back in the day. The tree has died and gone now. Man was it big.
Did you get a new camera Chig? The video quality is really good on this video. Either that or my eyes are getting younger. I am ruling out younger. LOL
Broken axe heads,,,some old timers used to set the axe into the wood and then beat it through the rest of the way with a sledge hammer, sometimes the axe head broke.I know b/c I watched my grandfather split wood when I was a kid.
