Oh my gosh I can’t believe I finally found this video 😂😂 I was so little and nervous to talk. Now I’ve grown so much and I’m such an outgoing person. Don’t worry I still catch all sorts of animals and release them

What a great video! I was raised in Arkansas, but moved away about 40 years ago. But I do remember several swimming holes from my younger days. This video is a great, though a tad bittersweet, reminder of those wonderful days. And very ably presented, by the way.

My wife and I are planning on moving there from California. I am from Missouri and back in the 1960's and 1970's was an Old style Hillbilly Entertainer and Barn Dance Caller and after living in California since 1980, I am ready to get back with the Civilized people. My wife at 72 and from Seattle Washington and Alameda , Ca . as a Navy Brat ask me if she will be accepted there with a touch of Dementia? I told her when I lived back there, Everyone had Dementia. Nobody really remembered where they lived. I lived in West Fork, devils Den Park area and was a Hog Caller and won three years. My wife loves Quilting, Folk Dancing and was a Middle Eastern Belly Dancer and Teacher. In California you do not have friends, You have mostly leaches and sponged. I am into Classic Cars and hope to enjoy my 1901 Oldsmobile I travel all over California and went on a 3000 mile trip from Ca. to Mo. and Branson to see one of my old Son of the Pioneers friends. and back to Ca. I am also a Studebaker man. we want to start a whole new life at 83 and 73 and leave the Negative in California. We hope we hear from good people. 50studebaker.man@gmail.com

In the 70s, 80s, and 90s, We'd go to the Bluff Hole in Letona. I believe it is privately owned by an owner who doesn't allow swimmers anymore.

That one kid is killin the ecosystem in that one swimmin hole by building things with rocks from the bottom. Someone needs to teach him that. Just like when folks stack rocks on banks of creeks or rivers.
