I live in the DMV. Going to make every attempt to visit here in the fall. Heard about the wild horses. Thanks again for the exposure and information.

Assateague Island was a beautiful place. I woukd not be surprised to know that when there was a town we werent welcomed since it existed in the early ro midd 20th century. Now, since its a state and federally maintained area, it feels like all sre welcomed. When I went, there werent many people, but the few I encountered were friendly and chatted with me about the horses and the beaches. If you get time and you are in the area, stop through and see if you can see the horses!

@@nationalparksprincess3216 Exactly! I have a video where I get to "meet" a giraffe a month or so ago in North Carolina. It's a drive through park with lots of different animals. If you check it out, let me know what you think. It was not a national park but it was so fun. If you are in the area or near a similar place, give it visit. You'll get a kick out of it.

Yes! If the drone is FAA the Maryland State Park side permits it. The National Park area does not permit drone at all.
