is the express lane security entrance up in the lift as shown in your video as i am flying from bham in just under 2 weeks time with jet2 and i have a fast track security ticket booked? :) i did notice the escalator missing in the TUI area where you used to go up for security.

This is useful. The plan I found online is confusing, Ryanair said to arrive 3 hours before take-off and that bag drop would be open then as well. I think I'll be at the airport 30 mins *before* that, as I can see why security has got delays at the moment!

The airport here looks a lot like it did back in late 2010/early 2011, when they merged the security areas and arrivals gates in both terminals together.

Are the lifts in the main check in hall still there because you didn’t show them very well.

I did use some lifts to get from the check in hall to security.

Appreciate you wouldn't be allowed to film the security check but how long did it take to get through?

I actually can't remember and I deleted my original video files 😭 I think it may have taken almost 30 minutes to get through security but one of my bags was thoroughly searched and it also took me some time to repack my things. I don't remember waiting long in the queue to pass through security though.
