If you are familiar with movies and series such as Pride and prejudice and Peaky Blinders then you may recognise todays location. I'm on a FIRST TIME exploration of the beautiful Chatsworth House and its gardens, filming locations to many well known movies, series and tv documentaries.
The grounds are huge and easy to get lost in for the day...it's easy to see why when there's over 35,000 acres of estate! Each section of the grounds is very unique and beautiful in their own ways. Plenty to explore!
The house is stunning with an incredible amount of detail...everywhere you look there are statues and carvings and artworks and painted walls and ceilings! I can see why it was used so much as a filming location.
