Welcome to Clementi town centre. I’ve lived there for 20 years now. It’s a nice little town centre in the west area with a hawker centre, shopping mall, near to many good neighbourhood schools and a short bus ride away to NUS and Singapore Polytechnic. It’s really nice that you travel round Singapore to do filming about food and interesting places and share these content to your RU-vid fans. I have watched many of your videos and one of your most interesting video is about the underground city in Marina Bay Sands which is only accessible by employees. I really love your videos and keep up the good work!!!

We r so lucky to have hawker centers, as a Singaporean who has lived in Europe for 7 years, hawker foods n its affordability is one of the reasons why I wanna return home

Clementi must be the only SG suburb with an Italian name (the British Governor it was named after was half Italian apparently). That curry rice place looks delicious!!!

you should visit Ginza plaza, and the hawker centre opposite it.. those are nearer to the Japanese schools

Eh.. Ginza Plaza has changed to West Coast Plaza many years ago.. Haha! Used to school at JTPS and JTSS when it was still called Ginza Plaza.. And I agree that the West Coast Market has lots of good food! The congee, sliced fish soup and roast meat stall! Btw.. i thought tanglin sec was nearer to the japanese schools?

You can get durian on the public transport, basically what u got to do is to request them to open up the durian and place it inside a box, which after they will cling wrap for you to ensure that the smell doesn’t comes out from the box. But you will have to inform them that your taking transport so that they will cling wrap for you a few layer to prevent the smell from coming out.

Should try chai ho satay at hawker centre. the best stingray is at clementi coffee shop near the mall I don’t remember the Blk. The best stingray I have ever try the Chili is so good even Archer is good yes is the kopitam. i have eaten for over 10 years and the taste is still very good

did you go to the opposite side of the mall where there are not one but five aquariums selling all kinds of fishes under one block of flat (block 328 I think :) Clementi has young people because they are students from nearby NUS, Singapore Poly, Ngee Ann Poly and SIM who comes to Clementi Central. The Japanese School is actually at West Coast, which is near Clementi. So The Japanese probably stay at the condos at West Coast, which is why you dont see them at Clementi :)

You got the wrong curry stall. Should be the one at Blk 448 Clementi Hawker centre, 2 stalls from the cheap long queue satay. The curry puff stall called Fong Dee, Chai Ho Satay, Soon Lee Porridge(Hainanese porridge)

Hmm. Clementi hawker has nice fish soup porridge and curry puff. The satay stall is pretty popular, and sells Bak Kwa near Chinese New Year.

Yes! I agree! Been having them when i was studying in JTPS and JTSS. The fish porridge stall also has the very nice big otahs! The coffeeshop where he was at with the Brothers(兄弟) rojak, and indian rojak was one of my to go places too! The puffs place has the yam puffs i like. The stall near NTUC has nice popiah.. haha..

Chicken rice most nice is not this tai tai or yishun, the famous top 3 place is bukit timah market, china town, bukit timah shopping center B1.

Ghib-san, you may want to try the Curry rice at Jurong Point Level 3 Kopitiam. Is homemade curry and very nice!

Hi Ghib San.. you went to the wrong curry rice stall. The popular curry rice is inside kopitiam and it is not inside air-condition mall

the chicken rice (ask them to let u pour chili over rice ). Assam fish head. Blk 443 clementi ave 3, kopitiam mala xiang guo is very good. Tell them a gal come very often and ask for less oil. Fong Dee curry puff in Hawker, sold out at 4pm.

Last time I always take 96 (I think? Cant rmb bus no) from NUS Central Library to here, then MRT all the way to Simei to go home.

You r very lucky to have married a singaporean n live in singapore. If you r in Europe, you don’t have the sun, hawker centers, no body accepts English language there n certainly the locals will not welcome you as much as Singaporeans

Curry is watery.. haha.. haha.. Ghib ate curry rice from the wrong stall. Viewers recommend popular curry rice stall is inside ceiling fans kopitiam.. Curry is thicker and never watery

You really brought in a cheerful atmosphere to the typical Singaporean self-withdrawn crowd Ojisan, Sad to see many of these so called ATAS do not have the culture to be as outgoing as you are, that is why you are able to talk to anyone anywhere. Thais & Osaka people are the most outgoing & joyful people I've seen on this planet
