Totally awesome hike. I am down here in Monte Vista and look forward to hiking soon up there. We were just in town June 3rd 2023 what a totally beautiful day. I was the checkpoint guy at North Clear Creek Falls. Big thunder coming today Sunday here in Monte at 3:30 pm. I called ground pounders.
I just found your channel and I enjoy it. Exactly what I did at 62. I'm now 64 and still enjoy it. But we are two of the lucky ones who still can get out there. Albeit slower and shorter than the good ol days. Keeping hiking and remember, age really is just a number. A really big number that keeps getting bigger, if you can stay on your feet. Well done.

Hi Tony. Just came across your channel and I think it's so cool you are hiking in these beautiful areas. I am 62 and started hiking about 2 years ago. I live near the San Gabriel mountains in California and I try to get out every couple weeks on a hike. Have you done any overnights? I am planning my 1st week long hike in the next couple months or so. Like you, I am just loving being in the mountains, exercising, and experiencing God's amazing beauty. Hi Michael thank you so much for subscribing to my channel and your comment I am so happy for you getting out and enjoying Gods beauty yes I do lots of backpacking in my videos I have a 13 day 160 mile hike where me and a friend had a blast, was kind of hard backpacking with enough food but it was fun. I really like backpacking but staying in the van is also fun, in September I am going to backpack through Banff National Park in Canada for 12 days I will be putting a video out on the trip I hope. I wish you nothing but happiness as we embark on exploring what God has given us please keep me updated on your adventures and who knows we might meet on the trails someday 😊✌🏼

Thanks for showing us the beautiful view. We are dropping our kiddo off to college in Colorado Springs in May, and might be visiting Creed. We might just do a hike when there. Also, any recommendation on a good spot to eat in Creede?
