None of the bat feel like old 1989 vintage straight heavy bat like MB. All bats have thin handles and very curvy bat profiles. I don't understand why they stop manufacturing the bats which are very straight and curve face with thick handles in nowadays. I had to go and tell manufactured them. 😢very sad

I play a few games of junior cricket here in the UK and in my humble opinion, UK made bats have an entirely different pickup and a made for more orthodox cricket. This is perhaps due to the nature of the pitches here. Asian bats on the other hand have a heavier pickup and more effective in the subcontinent with those very low middles. I have a MRF players bat and though it's a 2/10, it's feels heavier in the hand. GN, Newbery, Chase, MHL bats do feel lighter, the shorter blade GM even lighter. At the end of the day the batter has to choose what his/her perfect bat is, regardless of grade, grains, weight and look. Asian made bats are sold here in the UK and are costlier, perhaps due to duties, transport reasons, e.g. DSC bats are dear here. Please do post such videos and compare like for like, thanks.
