I'm trying (Organic Black Elderberry Powder) mixed with (Hot Water); drinking it in place of a cup of tea.

I’m in zone 9 central Texas I bought 9 cuttings wylder,ranch and Pocahontas put them straight into soil pots they grew leaves then they started dying 3 were planted in ground which looked great and healthy then our scorching sun and heat killed them now I’ve bought 5 which I bought potted and rooted that are about 10-12 in tall in solo cups I’m thinking of a partial shade area now just don’t know when to plant it’s September now I’d like them to establish roots but not sure if our winter months will kill them should I wait till springtime? I’m determined to have elderberries in my yard

can you graze sheep and chickens in a orchard of elder berrys? how far north will they thrive? i love and miss elder berry

How do you keep 1 Pocahontas Elderberries from laying on the ground Because the stems are not strong enough to hold the huge amount of fairies they produce. Many of my stems broke early after blooming., Therefore I have produced lots more plants which are producing this year.

I’ve always heard all of the elderberry is poisonous unless cooked. Do you have to take berries off stem and cook. Do you cut a two year old plant to the ground. Is the York , Adams, or bob gordon American varieties.

Do they get along with black walnut?
