Awesome video by Max! That Yoshi’s story themed ride took me back. I had forgotten about playing that game as a kid. The whole land brings just all the nostalgia feels. I can’t wait to see it at universal and how it compares.

Love this solo Max video! In future travels abroad when the mammoth club is all together and really has the time, I would love to see/hear in videos how easy it is to navigate in the parks where the native language isn’t English. While watching this video I wondered if they have bilingual cashiers when he was ordering food, but maybe I’m just thinking it would be harder than I anticipate.

Awesome video, Max! Thanks for bringing us on the adventure with you. The clocks and keeping the piranha plant asleep….ANXIETY!! Lol. The dark ride through Yoshi’s Adventure was like Mario’s version of Its A Small World. I also played the heck out of Yoshi’s Island when I was a kid. Nostalgic!

We accidentally got to experience it at USH yesterday! But being able to go to the OG land will be a dream come true for sure! Also, how we got there had something to do with Molly mentioning buying an AP at USH a little while back. 😂 And then a subsequent series of comedy of errors turned out to be exactly what we needed to be able to attend their soft opening. So thank you, Molly, for putting that thought in our heads!

An entire resort dedicated to Nintendo! * the equivalent of Main Street USA would be dedicated to the original NES, with shops dedicated to: the original Super Mario Bros., SMB3, SMB2 (the international version), and Dr. Mario; Duck Hunt; Tetris; the Legend of Zelda and Zelda II -- The Adventure of Link; Excitebike; and Golf (with room for expansion). * the biggest land will be themed to Mario (further subdivided into sections dedicated to the main Super Mario theme, Mario Kart, Mario Party, and Mario Sports) * a Pokemon land * at the resort would be a facility similar to ESPN's Wide World of Sports Complex, themed to Wii Sports and Wii Fit * a Legend of Zelda land * an Animal Crossing land * the centerpiece would be themed to Super Smash Bros., with a rotating schedule of nightly battles * a Donkey Kong land * a Kirby land * a game show based on Brain Age * a world class kennel for guest pets, themed to Nintendogs

So in Japanese culture, the line is kind of… part of the ride almost? ( which is why the line was so extensive and detailed). They’ll spend hours taking photos and looking at all the details
