Out of all RU-vidrs who filmed at Nintendo World, this is the most detailed one I seen so far. Really appreciate how dancingbacon didn’t spare any expense and went all out, most importantly, actually showed us everything they experienced up close and in full detail. Other RU-vidrs who filmed at the same place 90% just focus on themselves and talk too much which is distracting.
The channel “I will always travel for food” is a good channel too. He does the same format as Bacon does ( subtitles). He went last year, while it wasn’t as detailed it was still a good video. He is from Japan so all of his videos are based out of Japan.
There is music though, it blends in woth the video really well but there is a crowd and music recording playing that is overlayed. Notice how the music and crowd audio doesn'y cut on every cut in the video but rather keeps on playing. It does really give that vibe like there's no music though.
My 7 year old son IS desperate to go here (we're in the UK) and I keep having to tell him Japan isn't a weekend visit deal for us. This is probably the best video I've ever seen for this place. I'm determined to take him here. Thank you

Im not a huge game fan anymore, not since the 90's anyway, but still. I can't lie, this place is cool af. Might just very well be the most extreme thing IN japan!
I like how friendly the pancake cooks were, I can't imagine how draining it must be cooking for thousands of people while also practically putting on a performance for them at the same time. Putting in an extra effort seeing that you had a camera is really cool of them.
It's definitely easier when you're not cooking to order. They just need to make whatever's running out. No real rush. I'd take this job any day over working at a big hotel or something. But I'm sure hotel cooks make way more money than working here.
@@MitoseNorikoFan The job in a hotel kitchen is by far more diverse too though, the guys you saw here do the same thing the whole day. With a la cart dishes change, a much higher skill level is needed for that.
my boyfriend and i were watching this video and he asked me to skip "the eating part" and i told him that this was literally a food channel. great content!
Thank you for posting! As I've seen others commenting, it's really nice for us as viewers to be able to take everything in with steady camera angels and no distracting dialogue. This is very professionally done
A plastic star that lights up and holds the popcorn so it could easily be a cute accessory for camping / road trips and a nice light source at night as well.
I’m so impressed with the Japanese culture(edit:as always) , the guest experiences a clean park with wonderfully presented drinks/foods at a reasonable price. From the US I wish our parks had this dedication for their patrons.
Right? I was shocked at how cheap a lot of their stuff was. That Princess Peach cake would’ve been at least $60 at its lowest in the U.S. The only thing that seemed too expensive was anything with beef, but that actually makes sense for Japan. These menu items would be way more expensive with much less effort put into them here. I really have to hand it to them!
I was on that project for over a year working for the electrical contractor. It was such a blessing to be invited to the Contractor’s Day that gave the workers and their families early access. This park is truly a work of art, from bare metal to finish. I personally installed many of the lights, speaker systems, and fire alarm systems in the kitchen, Toad Stool Cafe, and restaurant exit.
$30 seemed like a lot for a bucket of popcorn, but then you showed every aspect of it, how it lights up, etc. And honestly mushroom flavored popcorn sounds amazing. I'd buy it.
plus you keep the popcorn bucket as a souvenir Honestly a lot of people would buy it as a souvenir for that price alone but its a popcorn bucket on top of that. And Im sure if you just want the popcorn they have disposable buckets for much cheaper.
agreed, initially i thought it was a really overpriced plastic shell but the showing of all of its features as well as its quality helped justify the price.
It is amazing how they make the food fit the super mario themes. Not only that, but the food actually looks really good. So far this is the coolest universal studios Park that I've seen 😊
Being stationed in Japan for military, I went here for the first time last year, and let me tell you, it DOES NOT DISAPPOINT! I loved everything about this attraction, and to see it in Japan was even cooler. Highly recommend if you get a chance to go!
While there are things that are done well with some dishes, presentation-wise, I'm really not all that enthused about some half-wilted greens on the side of multiple dishes. And the burgers looked a little slapped together with a hat on top to make up for it. But they're so incredibly busy that I don't see how anybody could do better than this, besides an army of michelin-starred chefs and sous chefs.
@@drizztdourden666 I didn't say "fir those food" ( you may need to work on your english) I specifically was talking about a way to do it better and about how busy they are there for the entire day.
You two are so cute when you go out together. You always do such fun things. I love that you use subtitles instead of trying to yell over the crowds. This looks like such an awesome place. Plus I love that you have English subtitles. I wouldn't have expected that from a channel like this, but I watch so many of your videos because of it. They let me see things I never would otherwise. Thanks for sharing!
I usually think a restaurant with brand like this is just overpriced. Standard food and just selling names and decorations. But this Nintendo restaurant is just awesome. Beautifully decorated, creative food, and so appetizing. Thanks dancingbacon
Nah bro that food looked so bad. 17 dollars for frozen fries and shitty looking burger. I don't know what you on about. And the pizza soup thing 💀💀💀, hospital food better.
@@annabethyeung8512 Nah im just commenting on what the original comment said. Saying that the food wasnt overpriced and looked good was a bit much in my opinion.
Seeing this just reminds me how expensive Disney food is. A large soda here is $3 whereas in Disney it would be at minimum $10 The food looks really good and for the price, it really is worth it! This is my first watching and I love it, I'm gonna subscribe!
Actually, In Japan, Disney food is cheaper than these foods. It seems to vary from country to country :) (I use DeepL. Sorry if my English is not correct)
@@user-ic2zh9ig4u Oooh that makes sense! Is amazing how Disney USA is extremely expensive whereas in Japan is affordable, I think is better when amusement parks are more available for the common folk and not just the rich. And don't worry, your english is really good! English is also not my first language so don't worry, I don't judge jajaj
@@user-ic2zh9ig4u Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea, are not owned or operated by The Walt Disney Company. Those parks are run by a Japanese corporation according to a licensing agreement, which is why their prices are different.
Damm what an amazing detailed video unlike other RU-vidrs, Also this made me realize that no other Gaming company in the world can Beat Nintendo in money.
It’s so neat to see what it’s like during the Christmas season in Super Nintendo World. Thank you for sharing the special food items only available at that time.
i really appreciate how you just film the experience and communicate through text, instead of sticking your face in the camera and talking through 90% of it, like our american youtubers. what a refreshing change.
Of course you do! As GenX’ers we were the first generation to have the Nintendo gaming systems. Mario is and will be one of my all time favorite games!! The previews for the new movie look really fun & cute too!!! 💕
I thought the toad at 1:52 was a statue at first, I was a little surprised when it moved lmao This place is going on my bucket list, the drinks and popcorn may be a bit pricey but the souvenir cups/carriers make it worth it, also there's mushroom dishes and I love mushrooms so... yeah, guess I better start saving up for a trip to Japan
Thank you for your videos, they're always so cool. I went to Japan a couple times when I was in the Air Force. It's such an incredible place with so many interesting sites to visit.
I love that this video appreciates the art the workers put into making the food, must be hard to do all the time. Wonderful video and Lady Bacon is still adorable haha
@@attichider I appreciate seeing her reactions and I loved that you called her Lady Bacon! It's a perfect name! And I think we both think alike, I don't care about anyone's gender.or sexual preference, it's none of my business truthfully and I've seen it brought up time and again. 🥱 To me, they're just the Dancing Bacons 🥰
The Yoshi onsen egg was such a clever surprise! Props to you for visiting the park multiple times to show us all the different meals they had to offer. Amazing video!
Amazing video! Shan looks adorable as always with her chef toad headband. I totally reacted like the lady at the cafe. So cute! I can see why this place is so popular. Expensive, but they definitely try to make the quality worth. I also love that they offer so many souvenirs. I would totally reuse that star popcorn bucket as a makeshift bag on light errands.
Honestly, it is was more affordable than going to Disney World or Universal Studios, Florida. And the food is also cheaper and looks better! I feel like all the food stands at Disney world “phone it in” now days. If you want good food you have to go to one of the actual restaurants in the park. Epcot, over all just has better food options…but even still the snack stands aren’t that great anymore and they are SO expensive. 😞 My son just reminded me….even the food in Downtown Disney was expensive and subpar. McDonald’s was twice the price of a McDonald’s anywhere else and it was pretty bad too. If you want a fun and tasty amusement park experience, Busch gardens in Williamsburg, Virginia is the place to go! Their three day pass was perfect for my little family of 3 ppl and we got to enjoy almost everything and some of the best food I’ve ever had at an amusement park. By far the best meal we had was in the German Beer Haus in the Germany 🇩🇪 section of the park. (It’s split into different countries). But the Italian section also had pretty good food and wine! And all The rides are themed to each country that you enter. They even have a scale sized Big Ben in the UK area!! I think we had just as much fun at Busch Gardens, as we did at Disney World, maybe more!!
The prices for the foods are shockingly reasonable. I've been to Disney World... and yeah, basic food items are going to cost you, but themed items? Very expensive. You can get a red-shell calzone (which looks awesome btw) for $6.49? That's cheaper than a sandwich from a fast food chain.
In the USA where most Disney parks are located prices are more expensive because usa is a more expensive place in general with bigger salaries. Japan is a cheaper place in general so the food items would also need to be cheaper for the people to afford.
Lady Bacon’s reaction to any tasting is the only review I will accept on whether something is truly good or not. It’s so awesome seeing you two having so much fun.
I really enjoyed watching this video. It was enjoyable and happy content. I couldn't stop smiling watching this. Thanks for posting it. One of my favourite parts of this video was the reaction of the staff when they saw the chef toad headband.
Looks like one of the coolest places on the planet to take your kids. Need to save up for a Japan trip...not cheap. The food design and presentation at the Nintendo themed restaurants is amazing.
To this day the fact that the Princess Peach Cake here looks so delightfully crafted and delicious... compared to the funfetti cupcake over in America. :/ I know whenever I go to visit Super Nintendo World, it'll be the Japanese location for sure.
Seeing your face fill with joy and wonder after every first bite, that smile (with your mouth full) and your eyes lighting up while you nod your head in approval made my day!! ❤ Dance, Chef Toad, Dance!
I've lived my life telling everyone that they wouldn't catch me dead being a Disney adult. That still holds true. But I will 100% become a Mario adult now
This was one of the most outstanding reviews I’ve EVER seen and I’m not even a fan of the world or the game for that matter. So much detail and no boring fluff talk, full focused on everything that this world has to offer. An amazing job this is, congrats!

What I love about Japan is that even if something is pure merchandising, they still try to make it high quality. Most would just slap a cheap logo on cheap random stuff and call it a day.
The food looked great here, best theme park food I have seen. Japan really know how to do their foods, I'm glad this channel has grown a great deal! Loved the video, I think there was one mistake, for the peach cake they said apricot balls but it looks and seems that they were peach. I'm not totally sure but this seems like it, thanks for showing us this quality!
I was there 2 weeks ago but I missed to visit the super mario restaurant! The menu looks so creative and on point! A big compliment to the chef and the team☺ Also a nice video!
DUDE!!!! This place looks NUTS! It's so cute and all the theming is on point. This must be heaven on earth for Mario fans. I'm not a huge Mario fan but even I started tearing up while watching the video 😭
Everything is so unbelievably pristine. Really this concept wouldn't work anywhere but in Japan. Imagine you'd construct this park in America. The visitors would throw trash everywhere and everything would be ravaged at the end of the week.
Fantastic video, you BALLED out with the food! Japan is just different, this space is so well executed, so clean, and so packed with fun ideas! Standing ovation -
Now as for the food: Looked pretty good, and the pricing was pretty fair considering it was in an amusement park. The desserts especially looked good. 19:20 I had a bit of whiplash when I suddenly heard "Linus and Lucy". I had to remember you mentioned it was during Christmas, and it's _technically_ a Christmas song, but it's still a pretty weird clash of intellectual property.
all that food looked so good and the park looked like so much fun! I enjoyed watching ya'll enjoy it--you help me virtually visit places I might not otherwise have the chance to experience. Thanks for sharing! ❤
This is so cool! The atmosphere, the food, the music! It’s like one massive callback and it’s stunning. Can’t wait to see it someday, I want to take my best friend to see it! Great video!
