Some urban exploring of an ROC post from the cold war, and some of the days challenges left in.
Addendum:
“FSM” actually stands for “fixed survey meter” and the other pipe closest to the entrance was actually the “ground zero indicator” a device that would be used to detect the direction from which a blast would come. This particular example was built in 1959 and decommissioned in 1968. Until recently it has been somewhat maintained with somewhat recent photos showing the interior completely devoid of water, and the door lying propped up against the wall. It is unclear how the water was being kept out until the recent ingress but now it is falling victim to seepage. The ladder is in rough condition, and very flaky.
Hope you enjoyed this video
Thanks for watching
