Thanks for the FormLabs 4B printer overview. Have you had a chance to use it to verify all of the statements made by Formlabs? Are you impressed with the output, speed, quality?
Yes, we have been using it quite heavily for the past 3 months or so. I have to say I really like this printer, and my lab team does too. It's fast, prints nicely, and is quite easy to use. The build quality is solid and impressive for its relatively low cost. Quality is high, but I think the top price still goes to Asiga Ultra at the moment. In saying that this is once again very good for the price tag. The only downside I see at the moment is limited resins, but the company says they are addressing this soon.
They try to sell you a very expensive 3 years service plan. Would you recommend it? Do you have a lot problems with it since the service plan is so expensive?
