Previously, Heather and I enjoyed a wonderful afternoon at a butterfly attraction in Nijar, Spain. In July 2023, while camping by Biscarosse, France, we saw a tourist leaflet for Le Paradis du Papillon (Butterfly Paradise).
The website says it is a "Une serre tropicale comptant plusieurs centaines de papillons vivant en liberté…". The translation is "a greenhouse counting many hundreds of butterflies living in freedom".
Apparently, the butterfly paradise has 52 species of butterfly.
Paradis du Papillon is located in Sanguinet, which is just south of Bordeaux, and close to Biscarosse. It is a lovely way to spend a peaceful afternoon, relaxing, looking at the many amazing and colourful butterflies.
