HAHAHAH IM EXCITED, OK OK OK- *POV* TIME!! You galloped down the Sunny moors, pulling your stallions reins with a soft “Whoa..”, you slowed to a trot. Coming up beside you was Link, patting his horses neck as he slowed to match your speed, in the front, leading this operation was Princess Zelda, your best friend. You turned your head, admiring the sunny slopes and occasional trees that dappled the vibrant green landscape, dotted aswell with yellow and soft pink blooms. “Where are we going Zel?” You asked, picking up to a slow canter to catch up with the princess, then slowing down to a trot once more. “It’s a surprise.” The golden haired lass said simply, a teasing grin across her face. “Ooh! Okay.” You said, excited to see where the group of young Hyrulian elves would go. Link caught up to you and the Princess, though he was preoccupied by scanning the land for ‘danger’, his sword draw at his side. You rolled your eyes, “Link! This is supposed to be a fun experience. And your making it all boring and sinister by glaring at the grass like it’s going to spawn Boko’s out of the dirt!” You scolded, poking his shoulder. The knight gave you a slow blink, “It’s my job to protect Zelda, is it not?” He questioned, shifting his weight on the black and white mare he was riding. “I supposed it is your job Link, but can’t you just *try* and have fun, for me?” Zelda cut in, looking over at her trusty knight with a sweet smile. Link’s nose reddened, “I could- ‘try’..” he said simply. Any time this stuff happened, it always served as a reminder to you on how in *love* Link was with Zelda. You rolled your eyes with a smile, glancing at Zelda, she had focused back on the ride, but you could see the little hints of pink around her cheekbones. After another good 15 minuets of trotting through tall grassy slopes, Zelda finally exclaimed: “Almost there!” Which made you feel more and more anticipation. You arrived at a crystalline brooke, lazily flowing over a riverbed of grey pebbles. Next to the river, overhung a tall willow, swaying with pale green leaves and soft lavander blooms. “This is beautiful Zelda!” You said, wide eyed. The area was showered in magnificent light, shadows dancing across the ground as the willow tree swayed in the breeze. You dismounted from your stallion, tying his reins onto a low hanging, small yet sturdy branch. Giving him the opertunity to drink from the water. Your two companions were doing the same. Once the horses had been taken care of, the adventure began. You and Zelda headed off around the area, scouring the land for flowers. You picked some of the pink blooms spouting up from the tall grass, weaving them into crowns. You returned to the Brooke, laughing and joking with Zelda. Link sat at the edge of the water, holding a few of the lavander flowers from the willow tree. He placed them each, carefully into the water, watching as they floated downstream. You stopped, letting Zelda have this moment to herself. She walked over and sat next to him, taking a flower for herself, and placing it into the water, you sat down beside the willow tree, resting your head against the trunk, watching them with a smile. “Link? Are you alright?” Zelda asked quietly, inching her hand to clasp his. “Yes, I’m alright Princess..” the knight replied. “Hm..” The princess watched his expression for a moment, eyes flicked toward you, a question. The question: ‘should I?’ You nodded the elf on, grinning excitedly. Zelda inhaled, “Link….?” She started, barely more than an exhale, the battle scarred knight turned to look at the princess, before being given the chance to speak, Zelda pressed her lips against his, reaching her hand around the back of his neck. She pulled back, her face red, yet she seemed quite calm. “..I love you, my dear knight.” Link looked insanely flustered, “B-but- wh-I-“ he stammered for words, but he stopped himself, staring silently at the princess, before he kissed her again. + + + After that wonderful romantic achievement, the three Hyrulians headed out back onto the plains of Hyrule, galloping flat out, racing each other back to the palace. Link won, naturally. You laughed, pulling your reins and ‘whoaing’ to your steed, stroking his neck. “You’re fast, Link!” You praised, hopping off of your horse and guiding him into his stall, beginning to un-tack him. “Thanks..” He said, doing the same as you. Zelda trotted inside, finally catching up with you both. “You both are *fast!”* she said with an admiring grin. “Thanks Zel.” You said, putting away your tack. Link walked over to Zelda’s side and helped her off her mare, even though Zelda was perfectly capable of doing it herself. You guessed that he just wanted to be near her. “This was a really fun day, Zelda.” You said as you closed and locked your horses stall, watching the princess and she un-tacked her brown and beige mare. “I’m glad you enjoyed yourself y/n!” The golden haired Princess said cheerily. “We can go out exploring tomorrow if you want?” “Can’t wait.”
