Exploring inside of a large Victorian culvert - Newport Isle of Wight.
This culvert carries the Lukley Brook body of water under St James St and Holyrood Street before it joins the River Medina at Quay Arts.
Filmed at some point last year (one from the backlog!), this is not something I would recommend doing in anything but waders, probably best to do it with waist length ones as I did I with thigh length and regretted it!
The reason for the trip was to see if there was any access to the old mill, unfortunately, there was not.

Above goes under were Mew Langtons Brewery was before it was taken over by Whitbread's then pulled down for the flats to be built

I was given extensive access to Frank James just before the Friends of Frank James had to give back the keys last year, I have a load of footage I'm just now waiting for them to finish off the renovation as I'd really like to do a before and after.

There doesn't appear to be any sign of collapse anywhere and as It's fairly substantial so I am not sure if it could have washed up there from upstream... It's a mystery! Thanks for watching.
