@@mhateys Sorry, but It's not an RS500... If it is it is wearing the wrong front bumper... There are 3 easy ways to spot an RS500. The front bumper, which is the clue in this video... On the RS500 the top of the bumper dips down under the grille surround, allowing more airflow in to the engine bay, all be it, very minimal. On the standard Cosworth it's just a level top from one side to the other with no dip ... ... The RS500 also has a pinstripe that denotes 'RS500' on the front wings (fenders)... And lastly, the rear of the car. The RS500 came with 2 boot spoilers (wings), a black lower spoiler and the colour-coded whale tail, which itself is different to the standard Cosworth Whale tail.. The RS500 Whale tail has like a moulded gurney flap, making it appear fatter at the rear of the whale tail than the standard Cosworth which is just a rounded edge.. I hope that helps. :)... ...

@@mhateys Always welcome... They were my fave car growing up as a kid.. Then while at college i made the Sierra Cosworth my first assignment.. Always loved the Sierra's. I had 5 of them myself... I have a grille for a Sapphire Cosworth here somewhere... Not that i'll ever need it... :)

Hey Collete, I was yelling answers to you until my voice gave out :-D The ACE cafe started in London in the 1960s and was famous as the number one cafe racer (motorcycles) location. It' was rebuilt and is thriving to this day. The story behind the UK cafe scene from back in the 50/60s is really cool and has now become cool again. The white Ford is a European Sierra Cosworth, way different than the Tempos in the US. They were almost race cars for the street and are still tuned and modded to 500+ BHP. Check them out they even did a Cossie Escort and once you see one you'll want it (so with Adam so beat him to it ;-)

Up Garage reminds me of when I purchased a Honda 1800 CC with transaxle from a direct from Japan exporter - USA. $900.00 - Think that was the price 😮. Engine like new. (SMOG street legal). Ran great with the 5-speed manual. Rumor had it that people are not allowed to drive damaged body cars in Japan, so folks junk the cars and get another non-dented ride. (Cheaper to get a new ride there).

@@kilegarrison7910 Nice. Yeah, the Merkur that was based on the XR4i had a 2.3 something.. The Sierra XR4i had the Cologne v6 2.8i. My brother had a nice white one... Fun cars.... I had 3 Sierra XR4x4's myself, 1 mk1 2.8 and 2 identical mk2 2.9's... The best cars i ever had.. I couldn't afford a Cosworth.

That White Ford was a European Ford its a late 80s Ford sierra cosworth . They are a famous group A rally and touring car. Colin McRae and his father Jimmy rallied one .

Just wondering how you find car meets so much. Obviously with Adam being so into cars he probably looks into a lot of meets, but I plan on going to Japan (in a long time) if I have enough money, and I want to go to something like daikoku, but don’t know how to find them, scheduling and all that because normally they aren’t crazy popular

That was a Ford Sierra cosworth think 4 door ones were called sierra sapphire cosworths. Rare afffff. America we got the mekur xr4 which had different windows but looked very similar. Also old rally car. Think there were some group b ones not 100% on that though. Also may didn't tell you a police station is there too in that parking lot

14:17 That's a Ford Sierra RS Cosworth, and owning that particular Ford would also be a pretty big flex in the US. They were never available here, and aren't technically Ford powered. They are a English/British Ford and have a Cosworth YB engine 👍

@@ColleteDavis you live you learn !! anything 70s 80s and early 90s cosworth is flex !! we in the us only got the daimler 190E 2.3 ( big money now ) ...vs Europe cosworth came in bunch of fords ( sierra, escord and my fav. Capri 3.0 and RS3100 turbo ) all the great stuff that never made it to the us until now ! ( okay in the mid 70s the capri made it to the us but as a mercury capri but only with a 4 cylinder ) .... just remember cosworth badge , huge rear wing and louvered hood ...super rare / big felx and now bigggg money ! now: about the Sierra you shown us, its RH drive / UK spec ... 1 of 10-15 in white maybe !?

What's a Ford doing here 🤣 grow your knowledge Collete that's a RS Cosworth and worth more than most of those exotics parked there! Rear wheel drive legend, beat the Japanese, Germans and Australian cars when it was released. Most were sold in the UK and they are rare here so, that's probably the only one in Japan! 2.0L 16v turbo using a Garret T4 turbo 💪

The "Ford" is a Sierra RS Cosworth. I don't think they sold those in the States. It's a Euro car.

The closest they got was the Murker XR4-Ti which was effectively a Sierra with a turbo 2.3L similar to what they put in Mustang GT Turbo/SVO and Thunderbird Turbo Coupe.
