Man I love watching your videos because your interaction with your sons is just so awesome. I wish my dad wasn’t a POS and didn’t walk out on us. As a Mexican dude I appreciate you teaching your sons the value of family. It’s super important when you are growing up. Es todo carnal. You are making a big impact on their life.

Good luck. It's not easy being a good father. You have to be patient, disciplined, consistent and fair. PTA meetings, school parties, fund raising events, birthday parties, sleep overs, summer jobs, sports practice. It's a full time job.

Probably the most informative channel on you tube. These two young men and their mentor ( Dad) have taught me more about the fishing and history of the Colorado river and lake system than any other source. Thank you guys.

Flew into Vegas going to Zion National Park and went to tour the Hoover Dam as well as Lake Mead. We stopped at the boat house with the family for some burgers at Lake Mead Marina for some delicious Sandy burgers. The fam and I got a picture with the famous Nicole, to go with it! Talk about a surreal experience. Thanks for all of the great videos.

Back in the day, my Cousin and her husband has just gotten hitched and bought a house in Scottsdale. A couple of their friends came over for a house party and at one point, the usual thing happens: guys head to one room, girls to the other, chit-chatting. One of the guys in the group was like: "Hey... You're single, right?" I said I was. ALL the guys in that group looked at each other and said, with broad smiles "Havasu!" I said "Where??" Then one of their faces lit up and said "Bikini Mile!" So, a few days later, we went. Thank you for allowing me to reminisce, as you filmed what you called "Party Central", they called "Bikini Mile". I remember standing on the stern of the rented boat we had, doing my impression of a lawn sprinkler, constantly turning to check out the scenery. I was in my early 20s.... There was plenty of libations and fun to be had.... Those UNLV and ASU ladies were really friendly ... One of my better vacations. As always, great video- just caught some 3-4 lb Smallies yesterday up here in Central Massachusetts - the Fall Season for Smallies has arrived!

Interesting enough, is bridge was there from Roman's. The dirt under when purchased to restore, is from mudflood Jan 26, 1700 9.3 Crack in Cascadia fault line off West coast. Sank landmass 6' feet. Tsunami waves 33' feet tall. Roll in all the way to tip of Missouri. Up & down coast 600 miles flooding landscape. The scare is seen on maps today. The salt in Salt Lake is clear evidence of sea bed uprooting. Really enjoy your explorations guy's 💯 ❤

Wow, I'm in NY but my dad lived in Cali and I remember him taking the boat to Havasu as a kid. I don't remember any houses on the water but we didn't go in the canal or the party side of the lake. This was probably 35 - 40 yrs ago. I do remember seeing cows drinking water along the shore. Very cool to see it again

There is a poem called the DASH. It is a eulogy about the dash between your birthrate and death date. Those two dates are facts. But the dash is opinion, and memory of you that lives on. We all are the authors of our dash while we are alive. Good job senior. You will live on in great stories long after your gone.

Great trip to Lake Havasu..Lake of the real "London Bridge"! I visited there four times to visit my older brother, who unfortunately passed away there in 2015. Don't know if you traveled south of Havasu below Parker Dam..it's a beautiful section of the river. Enjoyed the video..looking forward to the next!

Obviously it takes more time, but this whole scope of the family time after the trip, the lead up, and then the lake and fishing at the end. Great editing and entertainment making, this is a fantastic 14 film and the time you are putting in shows! Really sucks I found this channel by such a bad thing like Lake Mead being so low, a super drought. But just like the entertainment industry now, I'm subbed to so many great channels like yours that I watch with my children, because everywhere else to me as a father from the 'networks' is a super entertainment drought that none of us want to be apart of. You guys are great, subbed and so our my kids, thanks for letting us watch part of your family's journey together. Wishing you guys the most success with this.

I live in Georgia and the state-record bluegill, at 3-lb., 5-oz., was caught in 1977. Red-ears are caught weighing over 3 lbs but I can't imagine catching a 6 pounder. Bream are a fun fish to catch though. They fight hard for their size. Other Georgia state records, Bass, Striped (tie) 63 lb., Sunfish, Redear 4 lb. 2 oz., Catfish, Blue 110 lb. 6 oz., Catfish, Channel 44 lb. 12 oz., Bass, Largemouth 22 lb. 4 oz Tied for world record, Bass, Smallmouth 7 lb. 2 oz.

Great videos keep up the good work! I've been going to Lake Havasu since 1989. So many good and crazy memories there. Haven't been going as much last year or two but it will always have a place in my heart. The water level does not fluctuate there as the main CA and AZ aqueducts pull from the lake. They pull water from near the shoreline so it must stay full in order for the pumps to function.

When I was a young teenager back in the mid 70's my friend and I would pack up a cast iron skillet, bread crumbs, a couple of eggs, grease and a can of Sterno. We'd catch blue gill and sun fish and fillet them, cook them and eat them right on the side of the lake. It was awesome. I drove past that lake 3-4 years ago. It's all chained off with No Trespassing signs. So sad.
