Fun fact. That region of the country Cordillera has never been conquered by the Spanish. Not for lack of trying, they tried several times but the villagers drove them off. That’s why the old traditions are alive and thriving today.

Igorot people of Cordillera were once head hunters that's why they were never invaded by the colonizers. Igorot people of Cordillera are indigenous people here in the Philippines.

Yeah, that's the Filipino way to use fork and spoon Spoon to scoop food or soup Fork as stopper when you scoop food from spoon & for noodles Spoon to cut food & fork to hold while cutting... 😊

Try Mt. Kalugong Village in La Trinidad and while there you can also do strawberry picking in the strawberry farm.

@@alanshannon3884try Paoay Sand Dunes adventures too if you go to Vigan😊 then ilocos Norte, go to Cape Bojeador, Kapurpurawan Beach, Bangui windmills, then Pagudpud. Beautiful beaches out there. After Ilocos Norte, travel also to Cagayan Valley😊 we have Boracay of the North here at Sta. Ana❤

There's supposed to be one very good restaurant you could have gone to just right outside the village you visited should you have wanted traditional Cordilleran food, named the Farmer's Daughter.
