Join us on spontaneous day trip, as we wonder around George town which is located in Penang island. We ended up stumbling across a half functioning mall built in the early 1980's which gave us a backroom vibe.
Empty shops at the malls effected by Covid19.. 7/11 in Malaysia is not like in Thailand.. expensive and not many options.. you can try other sundry shops..
It's not abandoned, it's just old, 1980s old... People now go to Queensbay Mall, Gurney Plaza, Gurney Paragon, etc. Take a Grab. 😊 Before that, the Skywalk on KOMTAR is cool. 👍
I mean technically it’s half abandoned, the top floor 99% of the stores are shut down but ye in a sense it’s not fully abandoned mall as you would expect.
@@keangwooichoo6138 I do understand that I even mentioned in my video that it’s a mall from 80s which is not maintained well, as the other malls that are connected are nicer and not so empty.
@@keangwooichoo6138 okey thanks for the information didn’t know Malaysian government do their work in a mall where the second floor is empty half rotten down and closed, you can even see in the video they used to be shops with names on them, now they are apparently government offices sounds a bit sus don’t you think? 😂
@efk0kid how many 7-11 have you visited in malaysia so far? Funny, another vlogger from thailand and frequently visits malaysia says we hv better selection of items although pricing thailand wins. "Jon in KL" is the channel
@@keangwooichoo6138 I’ve visited 10+ 7/11 in KL and none of them could beat Thailand ones but I guess everyone has their own preferences, I’ll check out the channel thanks
@@keangwooichoo6138 that was my favourite store while I was in Malaysia it has everything I needed and wanted anything from hot food to drinks and groceries in general, in my opinion Family Mart was way better than 7/11 in Malaysia just my opinion
