William Gladstone was a Liberal PM who passed several transformative laws such as the third reform act to expand the electorate and remove the qualification differences for boroughs and counties. He was a pretty good PM.

Piccadilly gardens can get a bit rough at nights. Great video keep it up! The northern quarter close by is great for restaurants and the free museums are great.

The town hall is supposed to be finished this year but it's now looking at 2025 please come back and see it when it is finished as it's a beautiful building. Also the city of Salford is actually older than Manchester and the locals are fiercly proud of being from Salford. The accent is actually different but unless you're local you probably wont notice.

Manchester is much older than Salford - it was founded by the Romans in 79AD - but Salford was more important in the middle ages. It's difficult to see where one city starts & the other ends nowadays, apart from the river Irwell which is the border in the city centre. Great video btw!

Nice vid. 7:25 that's the set of Coronation Street set behind those tall walls of the ITV building. 8:25 That bridge is designed to lift to let the taller ships pass underneath.

I've seen the first part, will watch it right through later today. Gladstone was a former prime minister of the UK. I think that stone is called the Ishinki Touchstone. It's meant to look like an ordinary beach pebble. An odd thing to come across!

The War Museum South is probably the one I know in London, which is in an old building not far from Westminster. Btw, I took a screen shot of that giant pebble and uploaded it to google to find out what it is!

Thanks, I was really proud of the sunset segment, unfortunately due to the recent events that have occurred in and around Merseyside I was able to visit when I was staying in Manchester. I will visit Liverpool at some point in the next year.
