I much appreciate the content you put out. I'm not from Miami and honestly didn't give Miami much of a thought until I started watching your channel. Now it's a vacation destination must for me.... I love boating but don't have much time to do it very often. So I kinda live vicariously through your videos. Again very much appreciated. I love the nighttime Miami River videos. More city lights! Those colorful bright lights at night are a vibe!! That definitely is a great date outing on any vessel. Im from Texas we don’t get much of that vibrance outcheaaa, gon have to go out there for that. Texas needs more lit up rural canals like that.

I'm a retired agent that worked on the water and boats my whole life in Lousisiana, on Mississippi River and in the Bayous down at the bottom of the River also in the the Gulf. I had a 30ft Scarab with twin Mercurys on back. I loved that boat. The best thing about that boat was it was free!!Now I have a old 2004 21ft Bullet bass boat. 2.5 Mercury on back with jack plate and hot foot gas pedal. Hardly ever fish in it though lol!! Love them boats and the content Been subscribed about a year now. Keep up great stuff!!! From 55yr old coonass from the swamps of Louisiana$! Out of my front yard into the truck / backyard and into the water!!! Amen brother!!

You need to do the exhaust mod to that engine and make it sound like the bad ass engine it is that's a common engine we modified back in the day to exit the exhaust above the water.. here in Michigan it's all about that top end and they sound like nothing else..

What model Mate is that. Is it a Starflite? I had a 21 ft pulsare with a merc 250 proXS.. I HAD A 27 FURY On it and I had her runnin 84mph one time. Could have put a 300 on it if you wanted. Loved that boat. Fast as he'll and easy to trailer. Enjoy the boat. May you have many hrs of safe playtime in her.

Hey Bro, just stumbled on your stream while looking for info on my boat. I have that EXACT SAME boat!!! Checkmate Starflight with chessboard color scheme. I wanted to put up a pic from last weekend but I cant attach images in comments. I run a Mercury Racing 225 optimax. Its a 2.5 block with a 3.0 mid running the 1" shaft torquemaster lower. I turn a 26" trophy plus to 7000rpm @82mph. Your is pure eye candy. I did the same with mine when I first got it. But old gelcoat didnt have UV inhibitors. Its a constant battle keeping it fresh looking. I had to lean away from glass finish and pour the high UV marine wax to it. I also put white sea deck over the black on the bow so a human being could lay on it without cooking.

Why do they have outboards vs i/os there? Is it because of the salt water Maintenance?
