Can someone explain to me the point of these boats? They seem beyond pointless. Can't fish, not designed for hanging out, only designed for speed. If you want to go fast, why wouldn't you just get a race car?
Looked like it was ready to take flight. And I know this is an old video, but when you were thinking your being heavier was slowing it down, what you weren't thinking about is that the boat probably burns 10 to 12 lbs of gas during every run. So the boat actually gets 10-12- or more pounds lighter after every run. I bet something in the engines warmed up a couple of degrees after that first run which will easily slow it down a mile or two per hour.
This video, even though it’s not a “fix”, it works like a charm. I’ve had to do this on starters, selinoid and motors like this. Works great to get you out of a jam BUT it’s not the fix. Will need a new one eventually as the hammer trick won’t work down the road. Works for a few years though.
