What's funny is, that you said "I'm becoming the Bachelor's degree". I wondered why you confused the verbs "become" and "get", as usually only germans make this mistake. The german word "bekommen" is translated as "to get" in english not as "to become", so it is a kind of false friend. And after that you mentioned, that you were studying german, which explained everything to me :D
