That's true Julia is very special. If you ask what we ask for, that's to see you more. So, we learn, as we see you. Julia is really great at that job. About learning, we guess we need well pronounced words or expressions, while being aware of the meaning, and repetition, the same like when we learnt as babies. If we have time to try telling the word before you repeat it or tell another one, that's best.

I just enjoyed my breakfast with you two sweet ladies. You made it fun. Elina, such a nice new partner to have, and such a great new teacher she has! I wish you two great success together. I started with the Alphabet like you suggested, and it's been very helpful. I guess learning the very basics is where I needed to start. It's fun to learn something new!

''Ya golooodnaya'' 😊 Very fun video. And i picked up some new words. Now i have to remember them. I've been to that Teremok at Nikolskaya. My fav street in Moskva. Went there almost every day for 6 days. I felt comfortable there)). When you visit Russia for the first time, always look for a Teremok. I didn't feel too embarrassed there, as a n00b. Great food. Fun stuff hanging out with you two ! Spasibo !

Fun video, learned a lot again. It would be nice if you left the lines of text longer in the video. This might help to memorize the phrases better, especially if they are longer. Warm greetings from East Germany

Had a bit more mature and reserved vibe this video. I guess time and life experiences will do that to you. Hope all is well considering everything. As for choosing smetana with the syrniki, can't say I agree with that one. I always go for the cherry jam, the sour and sweet flavors balance better that way)

I watched this on Pancake Tuesday, last day before Lent Tomorrow is ash Wednesday. We had tons of pancakes with syrup, or jam and strawberries ice-cream with chocolate buttons.... Good program, ....I ate my pancakes with my fingers. ok now I could see how to get to museums, but how would you find say a jazz venue, or accordian playing, the sort of fringe Russian cultural music in smaller venues? Russian culture but maybe not highbrow. So a program on how to find and book or pay for seeing an event.

degustate, hmm. I learned a new word in English today. lol You won't hear a native English speaker saying that. Actually, I think it sounds kind of gross.🤣 Normally, you would just hear "taste," or "try." Or, just "can I have a sample, please?"

Thank you for everything! ⛄ May I ask, what is the difference here? ты бы хотел поесть? / Вы бы хотели есть? ... ty by khotel poyest'? / Vy by khoteli yest'? Is this informal and formal context? I use machine translation to help transcribe and take notes. It translates with "Вы" form, like "вы голодны", instead of "ты голодный", as you say.
@Stannyme

I have no idea why Russia's are always calling crepes pancakes. A pancake is a thick cake type thing that you cook in a pan. Those are crepes.
