The passionfruit is called the Blue Passionfruit, because the flowers are blue. It is native to Brazil. The plant will send out runners and spread unless you stop it, I know I have one. The fruit is nice, not very sweet, yet not sour like most passionfruit. The fruit is a deep red colour and is mostly seeds, and in the hot weather the seeds will begin to sprout inside the fruit after 2 or 3 days of being ripe; so yo9u need to pick them as soon as the turn orange. Great vine for covering fences in a hot climate.
