Great guys, you got into one video what we separated into 4 separate ones ! 😃 We love it here as there is so much interesting history. Loved the drone footage you got too . Hope you're feeling better Will, glad you didn't get it Rach 🙂 Enjoyed this 😃👍🏴 ~ Anna
Thanks guys, we really enjoyed your videos on the site. It’s such a brilliant place to visit. We definitely want to return I’m summer to see it all open. Although it was nice to have it pretty much to ourselves. I’m glad I didn’t get covid too!!!! Cheers 🍻
Well, that's an awful deep subject, Rachel and Wills. And me without my coffee yet! A beautiful area with so much history and we enjoyed visiting with you. Hope Wills is feeling even better! Happy you didn't get sick too Rachel. But then think "incubation period."😁😁 Hopefully you wont! Thanks for bringing us along. But, wait! I seem to have lost my head. Is there a cure?
Sew it back on Dave, sew it back on 🤣🤣. Thanks so much for watching. Wills is so much better now thanks and somehow I seem to have swerved it! Although after yesterdays filming I may have picked up a completely different strain!!! Have a brilliant week guys and cheers 🍻
I'm glad Wills is feeling better. Probably had a bout of lager withdrawals. Great tour guys. I love the history and story of Winifred. Shame she had to lose her head to get the industrial ball rolling. Seems it all worked out in the end. Well done on the stich job👍. Thanks for another great tour guys. Have a happy (and dry) day🌞🐲💞🌹
Thanks for watching!! Maybe you’re onto something there, lager staves off covid? Who knows! He’s a lot better now. Yup shame she had her head cut off, but everyone from the Industrial Revolution was most grateful. Cheers for watching and have a brilliant week 🍻
Oh Wales' own Lourdes. Hadn't heard that story. Hoping Wills is feeling a lot better now. That flu is a beaut so take care Wills. Loving all those ruins, covered in vines and weeds...it looks so eerie yet fairytale-ish! That waterway is gorgeous with its waterfalls. We have a lot to thank Winefride for. Oooh Will COVID, blimey who would have thought. Glad you are on the mend. Have a great week. 👍🇳🇿🙋♀🇳🇱🙏 Oh the joke- 🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂
Thanks Anita. Yes it is known as the Lourdes or north wales! It was definitely too cold to bathe, Wills would have had pneumonia on top of his covid! We really enjoyed looking around the old works as well. Cheers for watching and have a great week 🍻
The ruins are truly remarkable. I wonder what happened to that site. It is well preserved. The tourists will truly enjoy this place when they visit this part of Northern Wales. I love the colored glass windows and the facade of the building.
Hi you two! Lovely tour - I enjoyed the story about poor St. Winifride. Sorry to hear Will wasn't feeling well but glad he's better now. Wow, that's a lot of trading going on with the West Indies & Africa, but cool to learn about the snuff mill. The water was beautiful, especially that curved cascade. So much history to see there!
Thanks so much for watching. We had such a fun day even though Wills was feeling rough. We definitely want to go back there in summer to see all of the exhibitions open. Thanks so much for watching 🍻
Wow! The story of St. Winefride was incredible, and the well is an amazing place! So sorry Wills was feeling so rough. Hopefully fully healed up by now! You certainly got some amazing drone footage as well! Just a gorgeous video! Thank you for this magical tour Rach and Wills!
Thanks so much for watching. It’s a lovely peaceful place at the well, wish we could have tested its healing properties on Wills - although I suspect he’d have just got pneumonia on top of his covid! He’s Al better now. Thanks for watching and have a brilliant week. Cheers 🍻
What a great and fun tale of Winifred, and influence to the abbey, and the mill. Just the history of the area is fascinating and delivered with much fun and your so entertaining to watch. Glad Will is all better now 😍
Thanks so much. It’s amazing that the water pretty much carved out the history of the valley. Wills is much better now, he’s testing negative and is back at work much to his disgust!!!! Thanks for watching 🍻
WELL, this was very interesting! I remember that Anna did some lovely videos about Winifred's Well for her channel too. Winifred' Well and the surrounding area has such a rich, colouful history. Great video and drone footage. Glad to hear that Wills is now WELL again! I really enjoyed watching. Have a brilliant week! 🤗❤
Thanks guys. Yes we loved Anna’s videos too and this site is literally 10 mins from where we live, so we thought we’d have a go too! Wills is now fit and WELL - thank goodness. Cheers for watching 🍻
I have always wanted to visit Wales, so beautiful and so much history. I can’t get over all of the incredible old buildings there. The fact that there are things existing from the 1400s fascinates me, so beautiful. Beautiful aerial footage too. Awe what a cute doggie! Lovely video! Thank you for sharing 😊💜
Thanks so much guys. You’ll have to come for a visit. A lot of the castles date from the 1200’s! Thanks so much for watching and have a great week. Cheers 🍻
Good video Thanks sharing with us. some beautiful places you visited St Winifred's lovely strained glass and architecture. Greenfield mills good old industrial area forgotten in time. Thanks for sharing with us 👍
Wills thanks for taking one for the team glad you are feeling better. Beautiful drone shots and the history is just fascinating! Hope you’ll take us back in the summer. Excellent video guys! ~Cara 😊
Thanks so much for joining us. He’s loads better now!! It was a lovely day out and really enjoyable without crowds. It will be interesting to see it in the summer. Cheers for watching 🍻
Watching the video was well worth it 😁😉 Glad Wills is feeling better. What a trooper to stick out out for the video. The building architecture is beautiful. Excellent drone work 👍👍Nice work on the video with the music and somber tone.
WELL where to start 🤭 sorry couldn’t resist! This was fabulous what a storey and a lot of history! Hope Wills has fully recovered and you managed to stay WELL Rach 😉 Cute dog and even a cheeky bridge twirl 💃 ‘She couldn’t see that WELL’ 💥😂👍
Thanks guys. I stayed WELL - god only knows how! Every time I coughed last week is was thinking ‘here we go’, but no, nothing nada! It was a really educational day for both of us as we didn’t know a lot of that before we went (an considering it’s 10 mins away, that’s pretty bad!!!) Have a brilliant week and cheers 🍻
Great job guys. Winefred head was awesome. Enjoyed the info and you got some brilliant footage. Wills did look rough. Keep em coming catch you again soon. 👍🏻🚶🏻♂️🚶♀️
Really great tour guys 😊 so much fantastic facts and some great drone footage. Love the cotton mill, it does look like a really interesting place. Like your description of it being a footprint of the industrial valley. 😊 great video
Thanks Yasmin. There was something quite eerie about it on a snowy afternoon with next to no people there. We enjoyed having the place mostly to ourselves. Thanks for watching 🍻
This is so cool and very amazing virtual tour, thanks for bringing us to this beautiful North Wales. Great sharing my friend. Greetings here in Manila Philippines. Keep up the good work. Have a nice day. L54
Well, that nun story was surprising. Nothing to lose your head over, but still unexpected. Next time just throw some Christmas decorations on Wills while he's laying down and he'll be better in no time. TWIRL Queen TWIRL! Beautiful sunset.
It’s a pretty brutal story!! I was waiting for the throw some decs on Wills and then he’ll have tinselitus gag!!! I’ve lived with him too long!! Cheers for watching, it was a fun day exploring. I hope Poland is still treating you well. 🍻
Well well well. This was well good! Loved the fascinating and gruesome story of Winefrides head, expertly retold by you. The landscape and how much it has changed was all the more haunting in its cold, winter setting. Its hard not to imagine it during its hey day. Glad Wills didn’t suffer too much, expert use of the drone, another great instalment! ❤ 🍻
Thanks so much guys. Wills is now WELL - he started testing negative on Saturday and is now back in work much to his disgust! It was a fun afternoon and I learnt a lot about the valley. Loved here all our lives and had no idea!! Cheers and have a great week 🍻
@@PostcardAndAPint great news on Wills, such a lovely spot, your so lucky to have it all so close to home. Plus you still had snow. Very envious and whilst you’ve been outdoors enjoying what must be the best of what Winter has to offer we have been hiding indoors editing summer videos like they are going out of fashion! Will venture out again soon! Have an awesome week too ♥️🍻
Well, you have done it again guys, another entertaining and informative video😊👊👍. We were excited to see that you were at Winefred's well after we watched Anna's video there a little while ago, before that we hadn't even heard of it, so it was really cool to see your take on it and hear you tell the story of Winefred, nicely done Rach😊👌. It really is a fascinating place, as is the abbey. Ooh get you two and those slick drone shots again, very nice😊👌. Oh my goodness Rita the dog was so cute🥰🐾🐶. Fab day out as always we enjoyed coming along, although we were sorry to hear you caught covid Wills, glad to hear you are on the mend now (you defo should have got your jam jar out at the well Rach🤣). Have a great week guys, like button smashed as always, Shell and Pete😊👊👍 Ps only one more day of dry January, bet you guys are looking forward to a beer, cheers 😊🍻
Thank you. Wills is all fixed now, he had a couple of rough days but has felt fine throughout most of it. We enjoyed Anna’s videos too and it’s such a cool story. There’s certainly a lot of water in that valley - probably more now the snows melted! Rita was just uber cute. There was a scary moment when wills was landing the drone and didn’t see Rita getting ready to play catch!! Debs survived the dog attack though!! Cheers for watching and have a brilliant week 🍻
Hello, my friends! Oh, Wills, I hope you're better!! This year the flu is very strong! Anyway, guys, your video was very interesting! I didn't know the history of this pilgrimage site and the story of Winefride! Very touching. Oh, I have to say it felt really cold...Obviously impossible to bathe in the holy water! I really enjoyed your aerial images. Well done! As always a unique and really interesting video and well presented. A huge like and have a great week, my friends! Renata
Thanks so much for watching. Wills is all better now. I think he’d have added pneumonia to his woes if he’d have taken a dip!! We’re glad you enjoyed the video. Cheers 🍻
Hey Rachel and Wills. What a great (and snowy) place to explore. Plus a bargain to get in. I think i've seen this before maybe with FX Wales - Anna & Alf. I love your narration as always Rachel x. Pleased you are feeling better Wills and that you didn't get it Rachel!
Thanks so much. We saw Anna and Alf’s excellent video too. It was fun to visit. Rach didn’t get the Covid but has since got a bad chest infection. Thank you for watching and your kind words 🍻
Thanks so muchZ to be honest if Wills had swum in it, all he’d have got was pneumonia so it was probably for the best he didn’t!!! It’s a good story though. Thanks for watching 🍻
Just amazing! I really hope that we get an opportunity one day to visit all the cool places that you do. My wife's DNA Ansestery came back that she is 25% Welsh, this is so cool.
Hahaha thank you. To be fair we only ever get one day off so can never go far!!! Hence all the Wales content, but we’re not moaning, we’re glad to live in such a lovely place. Cheers 🍻
Hope you are feeling better Will ❤ Gosh … St Winifred …. What a story … imagine seeing the head on … 😂😂 love the legends & folk law Great joke Will 🤣🤣🤣
Thanks so much for watching. Wills is now WELL 🤣. He tested negative on Saturday. It’s a great folklore story and there’s certainly a lot of water in that valley!!! Cheers 🍻
Whale oil beef hooked! That was fabber than something fab. Loved it even though poor Wills did look a little crook. Isn't there a saying about if you can keep your head when everybody else is losing theirs then you'll get blamed? I dunno what that has to do with Winefride. Or anything really. Does temporarily losing your head even count? Nice to see all that snow though. A winter miracle. Speaking of miracles, I'm glad you didn't drink the water Wills. If it is like a lot of holy water you'd probably end up with leprosy or something. Nice drone work again. Great pictures overall. Fascinating history. Puns galore. 5 stars.
Cheers Shane. Yup leprosy if he’d drank it , pneumonia if he’d swim in it! I think he was happy to just take the covid! He’s all better now! It’s a cool story for sure and there is a lot of water in that valley! More I guess now the snow has melted!! Cheers 🍻
@@PostcardAndAPint we went through South America once and everybody on the tour that did not drink beer got sick. None of the beer drinkers had anything more than a slightly sloppy poo. So you see, dry January is to blame. I don't know why you didn't get covid Rach? Maybe you're already a saint?
@@PostcardAndAPint oh no we don't want him to have Pneumonia hehehe, I haven't been , my friend went and she gave me me a bottole of it :-). I'd like to go , maybe someday hehehe.
I attend a bible study called Community Bible study. It is international. Well they just had their very first meeting start in Wales! It was on the prayer list to pray for them. I think in 2024/2025. My husband and I might actually do that Bible study online
I’m sure Winnifred appreciates you sharing her story with people who have never heard it before (me). You have to go back when it’s warm and do the swim!
Hahahah thank you!!! It’s such a beautiful and peaceful place and we would like to return when it’s warmer. Maybe even do the swim!!! Cheers for watching 🍻
What a great and fun tale of Winifred, and influence to the abbey, and the mill. Just the history of the area is fascinating and delivered with much fun and your so entertaining to watch. Glad Will is all better now 😍
