I found Lumnah Acres while watching another homesteading family who talked about them, and I watch L.A. more than I watch any others. Al has even introduced us to other family homesteaders that I also frequently watch. Rarely do I spend time watching regular TV, Netflix or other paid television. No more than to catch the local news. I think, for me, Lumnah Acres is a wonderful escape from all the darkness of what’s happening in the world. Thank you so much! I’ve never had a goat, but I have come to know their goat family members by name, the little black rooster, Moose, and his Ladies, along with Olivia’s Flock. Not to mention the pigs, meat birds, dogs, and Figaro! I must say that I am partial to Hope. Seeing her journey to the Lumnah Acres family simply stole my heart. She’s a very special little goat and I look forward to seeing her little kids. That mule can handle practically anything! Did you give more or any thought to solar panels on the composting outhouse? Back to my train of thought... Their videos have allowed me to see into the life of homesteaders like no other has. I enjoy every moment of it, and even re-watch many on auto-play. They have allowed us to come to know their family in a way that makes us really look forward to seeing what’s in store for each new day on both the homestead and on L.A. 2.0. Thank you, Lumnah Acres Family! Have a safe and Happy New Year! Friends of Lumnah Acres... HOW TO YOU COME TO KNOW LUMNAH ACRES?

I’m with Gina on going to the tipidy-top. I’ll stay in the mule. I think I’d probably wait until it’s warm and green before going on an expedition in the woods. I’m such a chicken... but I am curious to see it all. I can’t wait to see what else they do with it. Are there any bears 🐻 on the property? Is Sasquatch hiding out in a cave or behind one of those huge boulders? 😂 I love seeing those tell trees. I want to go fishing 🎣 up there. I’m glad you know the way back to the mule. I think I would have had a 🔥 built in the pit to warm my hands and feet... heck, my entire body! I would have been yelling “Don’t you dare jump!’ right along with Gina. That’s a huge property! Actually, how long was the walk? I’m such a wuss! 😂

What was cool about that Boulder is that you can see how the flat table piece to the right, actually broke off from the larger section and fell flat there. There was a smaller broken away piece on the back side and a couple good fractures still attached. Every year that crack fills again with snow and rain and freezes, will widen the cracks until eventually, other pieces will break away. It’s so special that you’ve made this investment so young and will have many, many years to enjoy and learn from it!! Amazingly blessed by God!! Thanks for taking us along!!👍🏻❤️

Your property is a wilderness area and don't kid yourselves that it's not. When out in the wilderness, even just on a day hike, EVERY PERSON should be equipped with at least minimal safety gear: first aid kit, knife or multitool, matches or lighter, extra food, extra water, extra clothing, sun protection, map, compass, headlamp with extra batteries, light emergency bivy. You never know when the unexpected might happen. Best to be prepared. Stay safe out there!

Agree . with snow around they can back track on their footsteps to the mule . But not easy after snow melts . taking a drone would help to get back if they lose their way.

You were talking about taking the rootball from a tree and making a coffee table out of it. One of my uncles pulled a massive one out of the river near his home and that’s what he did with it. So unique and beautiful. I don’t know what will happen to it once he’s gone because none of the relatives have a large enough place to put it in. Enjoyed your hike through the woods. Played in woods like those as a young one in the state of Oregon. Brings back some fond memories.

An idea... Taking 4 different pics of the same spot during different seasons or 16 different areas of winter and offering them as Christmas cards next year. This place is just so peaceful and lovely. You could have a scripture inside along with a greeting. I am sure ppl would buy so they could mail out for their Christmas cards. Food for thought. Also a great other way to promote the channel.

Not like we would notice from one section of the forestation to the next! Would be nice to know the history of that huge bolder and how many centuries it's been there! NH is full of large boulders like that, there are a few in Hollis NH, that are twice that size, and with trees growing out of them, and they are right next to the walking trails. But that is nice with an appropriate area for setting up a bivwack and a fireplace to keep warm before an early morning hunt.

Especially snowmobiling all over and snowshoeing. Just LOVE the SOUNDS of snow falling leaves BLOWING in the WIND and the SMELLS of 🌲 SAFFRON BREAD in the oven and thimbleberry jam PASTIES. I sure miss being there. FONDEST and warmest woodstoves in a LOG CABIN. And stonehomes. I like LONGER summer's more than 2 WEEKS. LAKES never warm up much. But the SCENERY is WORTH IT.
