Also class of 2014 here! I had a DEEP Tumblr era like Sierra (printing out the quotes and putting them on your wall unlocked a memory 😭), dressed like Riayn, and had a OFWGKTA/skater phase like Paloma. I love how *specific* this era is and I’m happy I was in high school for it

My wooo girl moment is passing all of my exams for the winter semester! 🎉 I'm going into the last 5 months of my master's program and writing my thesis and I couldn't be more excited to be getting closer to that second degree 🎉❤ I honestly never thought I'd be able to get one degree and now I'm almost to my second one... Woooo! Just... Woooo! 😂😂

Y’all always crack me up. My woo girl moment is I’m stage/tip kitten for a burlesque show Thursday. Then I start burlesque classes in March with a student performance in April. I will also turn 45 in April.🎉❤🎉😊

I was a 90's teen, and I was the OG visco gal. Lol. I had a hippy era, too. I did my hair like Scully from Xfiles. I was anti all things high school, ran with the band kids, and spent nights driving the drag with friends.

I resonate so much. I was Abercrombie and Fitch/Hollister mixed with Hot Topic. Trying to make these 2 genres of clothes mix. My music taste was very much more on the Hot Topic side. Went to ROTR with my dad starting high school. (Rock concerts) I also went to Winter Jam with my church camp. It was very much a mix of what was in style, what I looked up to on Tumblr and how much my mind was growing and spiraling all at the same time. I also found out somewhere in middle school I had epilepsy which drastically changed my life because I didn’t want to be “that” girl. I had a phase where I threw out all my converse and band T’s because I thought after finding out I had epilepsy, I was grown and I didn’t need that anymore. What a cool time to be alive. Not a ton of social media, yet. Lots of pictures with no where to go. Lots of friends from different phases of life. We would’ve all gotten along I guarantee you that.

In high school, I played sports, but also sang in the choir, did theatre, played in some orchestras, and was academic... so didn't really fit in in any groups. I was pretty much a loaner who was always busy and my aesthetic was always dressed from rehearsal or sports practice, or formal for concerts or debate or science gigs... it was a weird time

Not Riayn's first phone, literally being my first phone! The blue touch screen "multitasking" slide out keyboard phone.... I believe it was by Pantech. It wasn't a "smart phone" it was a "multitasking" phone. I distinctly remember my parents emphasizing that if i did good with the "multitasking" they would upgade me to a "smart" phone lol 😅😂

Lululemon headbands and Ugg boots were the big style signifiers in middle school and high school (or maybe it was just because I was in dance). Almost every photo of me from that era has me wearing a lulu headband and my knock off uggs with leggings and a dance team sweater. I pretty much had no style 😭

I would actually love to go to my 10 year reunion lol. I ran away from my foster home end of Jr year. Ended up doing my senior year in a charter school in another city smh. So I missed all those special events/moments with my friends. I'm definitely not everyone's idea of successful but I'm sober and in a healthy and happy relationship. So I'd love to see everyone. I wonder how they even contact everyone? Well shit would I even get invited? No huh bc I didn't graduate there! Damn that sucks I just realized lol.

My most cringe high school era: The Shelf Bangs... Oh dear lord. It wasn't enough to just have swoopy bangs, guys. My very thick, swoopy bangs morphed into a literal shelf. I curled them upwards to be fancy and they were literally like a tendril-y tunnel that you could put stuff on like a shelf.🤣🤣 WHY?!🤦‍♀️

I think HS reunions used to be more of a big deal pre-social media because you lost touch with people and reunions were a way to reconnect. Now with social media we keep up with whoever we want to from the comfort of your own home 🤷🏻‍♀️

Guys, I’m telling you, go to your reunion. It’s honestly fun. Maybe bc I went to a smaller school (graduated with around 200 people) it was good to see everyone in person again and drink and see where life took us all. We had ours at a bar lol the drinks were flowing
