taho is silken tofu (toqua), boba balls are tapioca pearls. Both very bland but they provide texture to the syrup. Street sellers elsewhere in the philippines just add caramelised sugar syrup. So when you here the calling taho up and down the side streets know you know why. Its the summer city of the rich.

Are you going go try to get into the army base there? Apparently it's a tourist attraction lots to see and full of history. In Dec 2022 we went only to be told i couldn't entre as no foreigners unless writen requested was applied for and approved. Im IRISH also Good luck
