It is like the Central Park of Brooklyn. The park has a lot to offer, like lakes, picnic areas, and lots of nature. Its a perfect place to escape the craziness of the city. I have fond memories of this park. Its a beautiful area. I haven't been there in more than 50 years. My Dad took me and my 3 other brothers and Sisters for a wonderful day out. We took the 48 bus from Williamsburg it seemed like a long ride. The lakes and zoo was very memorable we felt like we were in the country for s day. I have to go back. Watching this it seems not much had changed keep it that way. To much of Bklyn is being eliminated. Bklyn has a fantatic history and we must preserve and respect this borough. Thanks!

Hey, I live a block from Prospect Park and it's amazing. Welcome to our part of town, Manny! There's so much to do in the park. 2:26 That area with the flat roof, and the area in front of it, is a great sprinkler splash pad for the kids in the Summer, and turns into Ice Skating for everyone in Winter. 5:23 that building behind you is The Carousel. Around the entire lake, there's a huge loop for biking and running, completely shut off to cars (except a few official vehicles now and then.)

The park is 3.5 miles in circumference and again I will say be careful where you feel because you might find some surprises
