The community mausoleum has been decaying for decades. I have family buried there in Section P. My Great Grandfather and his immediate family have in-ground burial. Frank Schweinfurth, Sr. (see him on Wikipedia) helped found the Illinois Republican Party. He fought at Chickamauga and was captured and held as POW. He returned to Chicago and operated (with his brother) a very successful bread-baking business that had a contract with the City of Chicago. The State of Illinois Comptroller is the office responsible for ensuring that the cemetery follows the law concerning how the cemetery maintains the cemetery.

schwinn was not JUST in the chicago area in the 60’s and 70’s it was nation wide , i grew up in the 70’s and 80’s and i had schwinn bicycles, i was born and raised in Utah, so obviously at some point schwinn bicycles went nationwide.
