Love it - you and your friend embody what I think bike rides should be for all us regular folks. Leave the lycra and KOMs to the pros. Just adventuring on cool bikes.
i like to match kit and riding style with whatever bike i chose to ride that day basket bike: street clothes/party pace. road bike: jersey/fast(ish) pace because it's fun to try hard sometimes
In my town there's an old trolley line that's been turned into a multiuse trail. On the trail there's the Trolley House that was once used as sleeping quarters for the trolley workers. The garden for the Trolley House is a magnificent display of mostly native flowers and plants. It's my favorite part of the trail. Smells amazing in the spring.
Currently binging all your videos! The scenery, community, and vibe of these videos are top tier. This makes my cycling enthusiasm even higher seeing like minded people enjoying the simplicity of life in a chaotic world! Greetings from Oxnard, CA 🚲
Been enjoying your videos, this one with my morning coffee. Thought the losco's looked great on the atlantis, was almost making me regret selling a pair recently but i wish they were a lil wider. what a nice way to spend a saturday. Cheers
Thanks for watching. I’ve had the loscos on 4 different bikes now. They were best on the 90s Trek MTB I had before, which had a long reach and insanely long stem. I’ll keep them for whatever the next bike is.
Loved this video. We were in Seoul last summer and it was HOT! Watching this video makes me want to go back for a winter visit some time. Looking forwards to more.
I'm here for both the flowers and cafes by bicycle (and kalguksu content) 😍 I love Seoul! Although I have only cycled in Japanese cities (and it was such a beautiful experience!!), I'd love to cycle in Seoul! I love their cafe culture and actually those streets hidden behind the main roads are just so amazing and perfect for cycling! I'm so happy that youtube algorithm has recommended your channel to me, it's such a relaxing, heart warming and smile bringing channel☺ I love everyday cycling and it has also brought me a lot of mental health benefits - so many that a few years ago I decided to start my own bike shop :)
That’s amazing! Daily life cycling in Seoul is a little more difficult than Tokyo because there are more cars and hills but I know all the quieter routes and then the Han River bike path is incredible. I hope the bike shop is going well. Where are you based?
@@probablyriding I'm based in Warsaw :) There have been ups and downs as usual, but also very rewarding :) Oh I remember those hills in Seoul, those must be some leg killers 😅
@agirlwithacat1 I’m planning on a city break to Warsaw. I always hunt for local bike shops when abroad. I hope I stumble upon yours so can spend some money there 🤞
Greetings fellow city cruiser. I moved from Seoul to Gyeonggi 17 years ago, and I miss that great flower market! Love the channel and the great videos.
I’m here for both, flowers are always worth the trip. I use to live in Seoul (yongsan) and rode my bike there frequently…I miss it dearly. It’s good to see it from your perspective.
Love your content - so relaxing to watch. I'm nearly 40 and need to learn how to ride confidently so i can go out for coffee and flower trips like this! 😊 All the best, from Scotland!
sweet video...I just purchased a A .Homer .Hilsen and love it so far Very nice set up that Atlantis looks superb. Cheers and great job on the sound as well. More videos please and thank you.
Good choice! I’d definitely buy a Homer if I didn’t already have the Romulus. Happy to hear sound is good. I was worried because I do it with headphones. More videos to come 👍🏻
Just watched a few of your videos and i gotta say keep it up man! Very comfortable and calming vibe going on there. Thanks for the content from a fellow cycling enthusiast!
I am glad to find this cool content🥰so smoothie and nice Music. The bikes are so beautiful, the bags on the bike looking good. Please make more Videos ! It would be intresting to see some cool Bikestores where you bought the bags… For me in my mind is it then I drive with you together:-) I just woke up cannot sleep no more and I saw your content. Thanks Mar
Great content! I've always learned more about places I lived by using the bike. Traffic appears more civil than in most larger cities, or it could be the time of day.
Bikes are the best for exploring. Fast enough to get around but slow enough to take it all in. This was in the morning, so a little quieter than normal. Drivers aren’t great but maybe better than other places. Although, I don’t film when there’s more traffic because it’s too dangerous.
This looks like so much fun - I ride both bicycles and motorcycles but you've really got me considering putting my tourer in a box and shipping it to South Korea for some riding. Cheers from Philadelphia!
What are those bags on the bike-not the panniers, but the frame/stem bags. I thought I saw something like “hitch”, but that isn’t easy to search for without a lot of the wrong results 🙃
Thank you. I have a rapid rise derailleur so it’s the opposite way around but I see what you’re asking. So shifting down the cassette with my thumb and shifting up the cassette with my fingers over the top of the bars.
@@probablyriding I am currently watching and enjoying every minute of it. I’m curious of your chainstay that seems to be longer than the MIJ version but shorter than the latest MIT. I am currently riding a 26” size 50 MIT Atlantis. Another nice video :-)
Haha I used to live up there back when I rode a fixed gear. Riding up with that was even more insane. It would destroy my knees now. Plenty of gears needed.
