Slovenia is a true wonderworld! 🇸🇮 We hesitated big time, wondering if we should spend the money on visiting Predjama Castle and Postojna Cave, but I’m SO glad we chose to go! 🏰 It was worth every single penny! If you find yourself in Slovenia, you definitely can’t miss out on exploring these two places. 😁 Next Saturday, we’ll be taking you to the most famous outdoor spot in all of Slovenia- LAKE BLED! Welcome to our tiny country. One remark though ... that potica you two were eating and were obviously very fond of :) is more like a souvenir thingy kinda, that's why they are so tiny ... the real potica is a few times bigger and probably even more delicious. So, I suggest, the next time you'll come to visit us, find the "real one" ... I'm glad you've enjoyed your time here, and you are welcome to come here anytime again

I loved Ljubljana and doing the many day trips. I too went to the cave and castle. Lake Bled and Vintgar Gorge. As a solo traveler I felt safe and the people wonderful.

Did you know, Slovenia is one of the youngest country in Europe. It was used to be part of Yugoslavia along with Croatia, Serbia, Montenegro etc. Slovenia gained it's independence in 1991.

Loved your series in Slovenia. Today’s was outstanding!! The choice of the upbeat music for this magical town was spot on. I could eat that barley soup (at least an vegan version of it) and a baguette every day! Thank you for your video’s.

Wow! What an amazing castle, and I just love the look of the city! I haven’t been to Europe (other than multiple times to Finland because it’s my heritage) but I am definitely putting this onto my list. Btw, great music on this vlog… especially as you were riding the carts into the caves.

Legend says, that this castle prejamski grad, was inpenetrable, but the the servant put a light in the toilet when the owner was there. So the enemy knew what and where to target, and thats how the ownership changed

That’s pretty tight, I think the tour we did it with was as fast as you can get with doing both. (5 hours including transportation)

I loved Ljubljana! And it is such a fun name to say...after I finally figured it out LOL. I had an Airbnb on market square in November 2018. Chad has a definite penchant for small trains in enclosed places: Hallstatt and now Postojna! Speaking of castle life while under siege, have either of you read the YA book: A Door in the Wall by Marguerite De Angeli? Both my son and I loved it so much that we read it 2x while he was growing up. Oh! The dragons on the manhole covers! I also took photos of those. Here be dragons LOL
