Today we are spending the day at Fjäderholmarna, the closest archipelago to the city of Stockholm. Here you can bathe by the lake, eat great food, have a coffee, drink, or ice cream with stunning island views, and just unwind. It is a perfect romantic day trip for couples, relaxing getaway for friends, or a wonderful activity to do with kids. Fjäderholmarna has something for all and it's just a 20-25 minute ferry ride from the city.
Ferry information:
1. You can purchase tickets online and take the ferry from either Strandvägen (Nybrokajen): www.stromma.com/sv-se/stockholm/
If you go with option 1, you have to take the ferry (from-and-back) at the time you have booked your tickets for, and the line can get very crowded so you will have to wait for a long time and may not get outdoor seating (it gets hot inside the boat during summers). This station is however a bit more central.
Adult roundtrip (come back at set time): 185KR
Adult single trip: 150KR
Children: 90KR
2. You can catch the ferry from Slussen and purchase your tickets on the boat. This option gives you a bit more flexibility if you spontaneously choose to go to the archipelago, and you can leave the island at whatever time you choose. This option also has additional discounts.

Retired: 160KR
