Exploring texture
Materials : Glue gun, small stretched canvas, cardboard, gravel, string, acrylic paint, texture paste or wood filler. You could also try using sawdust or rice to play with different effects.
The videos will now be every Monday and Thursday, they will premier at 3pm (GMT)
Most of the artwork shown will be available to buy from my website at the end of each month.
Thank you all so very much for your support and I hope you will enjoy the new videos. I will be repeating some old exercises but there will be lots of new content in future. I would also be interested in any Ideas you may have that you would like me to film.

Hi Dan. I think some viewers will be wondering what you are making, I certainly was. I love this piece, your imagination is incredible. It looks as if it's a relic from one of the ships in the Fleetwood Graveyard. No home should be without one!

Yes I think it's been inspired by my many visits to the ships graveyard. It's a technique that I will use again and explore the possibilities for other works, I think a figure or head would work. I hope this video encourages others to try this gor themselves. Glad you found it interesting.

This is a very creative sculpture! Love the elements and execution of this technique. The end result is a wonderful enigmatic piece of weathered flotsam. Very cool!
