Exploring the Abandoned Stewart Silk Mill - PA 

My great grandparents owned the Stewart Silk Company. I have always hear about it and this summer my brother went there. We are shocked that the building is still standing. I am heading there in two weeks. Thank you for caring enough to video it. It was a thrill to go thru it with you. When you went up the stairs I got chills thinking... Thanks for posting this. I live a few blocks away and went to Ada B Cheston. Always wanted to know what the inside of this place looked like. Hopefully the city will do something with this.

If you take a closer look the beginning is scouting footage shot from an earlier visit. 2:46 and 4:28 are two totally different days!

If you pause at 9:27 in the second paragraph you can see "telegraph". That right there tells you how old this mill is.

The 'machines' @ 1:47 are (W)CDMA/GSM base stations for cellular telephony. They probably rented out the chimney to make a couple of bucks off this old factory.

If you come to London (UK) you should go to Aldwych station, its a disused underground station, it looks creepy but pretty fascinating! Its been in quite a few movies like Creep and 28 weeks later, id love to go down and see it but I don't have the guts too! btw LOVE your videos

What is the most trouble you have ever gotten into wile "exploring"?

Was this filmed on the Canon 5D MKII? Reason why I'm asking is because the image quality is great but that lens noise I hear is something kind of exclusive to the 5D.

Any chance u could get more video of the building at the other end (otherside of the stack)? it will probably torn down soon easton is talking about what 2 do with the property. Just really wanna know if it was steam powered and if the engine is still on sight?

The People who rent that area are selling the remaining good parts off those old auto's. They all ended up there due to floor rot & other "too expensive" repair estimates. (in other words it "is a junkyard" just a one for fancy European autos).
