Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church was officially opened on 15 June 1930. A 1929 story on the laying of the cornerstone had estimated the church to cost about $150,000.

That parkette was once a streetcar turnaround. In the 1970's Rose Park Drive (South of Welland) was filled with playing children. We looked down on the distastefully wealthy who owned homes in the deserted streets of Rosedale.

Thank you Bud for the walk along Moore Park with the beautiful pressteen homes and manicured lawns and landscapes. How you planned the ending to a tee was unbelievable. Catch you on the next one. Thanks #1 Johnny.

Yes, St. Clair Avenue East ends about three blocks east of Mt. Pleasant Road. Never understood why until it was explained that St. Clair does not run through a ravine. (I’d suggest using Davisville or Eglinton Avenue for through traffic.) St. Clair Avenue East resumes around Parkview Hills, which is located in the O’Connor/St. Clair area. St. Clair will then continue eastbound to Kingston Road. (-:

Not clear to me what you have against people with money. What do you mean that the city should build sidewalks by taking the front of the houses? There is no need for sidewalks in those areas and the people paid for what they own. Think before you make comments.
@JohnnyStrides
@JohnnyStrides Год назад
Neighbourhoods and streets are not there to exclusively serve the people who live on them, streets are public property. Giving the middle finger to pedestrian (and cycling infrastructure) is a very backwards way of thinking and creates a dangerous environment for those traveling on foot. A street without sidewalks in TORONTO is asinine. Car dependency is a cancer.

@@rephaelrechitzky9763 Facts are BS? Ok NIMBY 🤣 Imagine thinking sidewalks don't belong in a city lol.. that's the dumbest shit I've read here in a while.
