I loved the Cochise Stronghold Trail and all its topography. I’ve added it to my Arizona list on AllTrails. Also, your info on how the hotlist works was useful information for hopefully my future snowbird destination in a couple of years. Happy Trails!
Great video! The Colorado Trail club is going to hold guided hikes on the Colorado Trail this summer. One can hike sections or the whole trail. Up to 12 people per group and there is going to be several hikes. I plan on renting backpacking equipment. They are furnishing the meals. I can't wait!

Thanks for taking us along on the Cochise Stronghold Trail, the place where Cochise and his people used to spend the summers. Our Mazama hiking group from Oregon enjoyed the diversity of the trail such as pine trees along side of prickly pear cactus, a babbling brook, and beautiful views. Congratulations on your new abode! I love following your adventures. I’ll be exploring Southern Arizona in a couple of weeks- birding and hiking. I love Michigan and all its beauty, but if I were younger, I would live out west, because it’s so much easier to get to all the beautiful places out west, no matter where ever you live. It takes me 2 days just to get out there. Your trips have influenced my total love for the West and SW! Kristy, I love your blue, puffy jacket with a hood. It looks like one you can just squish into a bag. What brand is it? I need a lighter winter type jacket, especially for traveling by plane or to throw in a back pack. Is it a LLBean?
