Thanks a lot! If it inspires you to go even further in your music and creations, that's what truly matters! - The guy with the beard who looks weird! ;)
One of the most interesting things about this pedal is how many different ways there are to approach it. It can be a looper, a composition sketchpad, a slapback, a standard delay, a tripped out delay, a frippertronic machine, multitap delay, texture designer, stutter box, lo-fidelitizer, shimmer, and beyond. Jack of all trade pedals are typically good at some, great at none but the habit is uncompromising. Chef's kiss Chase Bliss.
You're right! The fact that you can create movement with the different parameters with the ramping function is so brilliant as well!! Do you have the HABIT?
Sef, I don’t think anyone watching your demos wants to skip your routings/config explanations, you’re simply a genius and we all need to know how you do your magic tricks, but what kind of magician you’d be if you show us how to do all your tricks? Awesome demo!
Really grateful to be able to share it with you! If you have questions regarding the things I've done in this video, you can write to me on Facebook or Instagram! ;) Thanks a lot for your encouragement, means a lot!
This video is absolutely glorious. Sef's tone and presentation draws you in ... Instantly inspired to go make some music! The synth/guitar piece really showed the potential of combining instruments in 'non traditional' ways. Magic!
Wow, it means a lot to read this! Thank you so much! It's always a great challenge to explore all the different facets of Chase Bliss pedals and get closer to the original idea that gave the spark to create it!
That's the goal of it! This pedal is truly a tool of inspiration! It answers back to what you play in such an unexpected way! Thanks for your comment! ;)
Hey Darion, thanks a lot! All those experimentations I've done with the ES-8 (especially the MIDI stuff) were greatly useful when I dive into all the potential of the Chase Bliss pedals! ;) Those pedals are simply insane!!!
This pedal is great. And everyone saying “should be stereo “. No. I don’t know. I think it’s perfect in mono. not everything should be in stereo in my opinion . running this pedal through a nice stereo reverb is beautiful thing.
I finally got around to checking out this video. Amazing stuff. I am using my Habit with a Signal Blender. It runs into an Avalanche Run with an OBNE Ramper being used on both of them simultaneously.
