Earlier in the day we hiked the Lost Mine Trail and Balanced Rock via the Grapevine Hills Trail plus we checked out the Fossil Discovery Exhibit - all of this made for one exhausting day so you can imagine that the Hot Springs was a welcomed site. The springs felt so good on our tired muscles and the river was just the right temperature to cool off. It was a pretty cool stop ending our first full day in Big Bend.
