We are a family devoted to fun and adventure! We like to share our adventures with our pets (Benny and Mousse-Mousse, RIP Ezra - we miss you) and you, our Monster Family. This channel will have everything from family camping to game nights covered with some specialty channels/upload groups coming as we develop our brand. Note that we will update content as we can, we are a busy family of 5 and the everyday life comes first! Thanks for the interest and support.
@janellewis9291 it is not required. We just spent so much time in the sun on this cruise that we wore long sleeves so we didn't burn and used less sunblock as well
@frankenstein3163 yes the tarps are sun reflective. They make a HUGE difference, without them, A/C or not you will bake during the day. We like Be Cool because they are light and the mesh like material allows the wind to penetrate so it isn't a giant hot box. And thank you for the compliment ☺️

@joshuasmith8988 we use a Uhaul to lug it all around. Set up for us would take exactly an hour and forty-five minutes sometimes pushing 2 hours depending on the kids or animals we had with us.
I've only primitive camped and thinking about trying glamping. FYI your A/C link might need to be updated. I do have a question about tent A/C use. Which will work better in a tent, a unit with air exiting the top or the side?
@punktexas thanks for the heads up, I have updated the link however our model is no longer out but this looks to be similar. amzn.to/4bCwxEp I think a unit with air exiting the side would be better because it is likely that your tube will be coming out from the floor of your tent. Primitive camping is "ok" to us LOL, we just are spoiled and want to sleep with AC. Good luck and happy camping!
@lifewithkatie3807 I had to go back and look at my statement. It was $275 to get all of the digital photos or at least 105 of the photos. I remember picking and choosing photos but then I think we said screw it and bought them all 🤔. There were cheaper packages available but I wanted the digital photos.
As we were heading back home to Houston the first week in March, we took the scenic route from Terlingua to Presidio. In Presidio, we took Hwy 67 to Marfa and Alpine. We took Hwy 90 east past Marathon and Sanderson. At Dryden, we took FM1217 / state Hwy 349 north back to I-10 and 290 to Fredericksburg. It turned out to be a more beautiful route than I thought it would be!
Would it be reasonable to just go for the dolphin experience then book Nachi Cocom for the beach and lunch experience? Wondering how efficient they are with time and if we would still have time after to go to another beach area to eat and relax?
@tracyv9897 I am not sure how this is run outside of a Royal Caribbean excursion and how efficient their timing is for guests booked outside of the time restraint if that makes sense.
We camp in state parks so predators coming in would be rare and we have our dog as a deterent as well. Our tent always remained cool, she always had fans on her as well. We have had her for 4 years now and she does really well on adventures. Now we camp with a pop up camper with 2 ACs so she is always in a cool environment. Mousse Mousse is always our main concern when on adventures
We liked Brain Balance, it did actually help us with speech and her legitimate balance, she is no longer clumsy. However after MORE research and understanding she needed more help. The tests given to her by the school were not performed well and we were not given all of the information we needed from those tests. We were under the impression that Madilyn was performing on a normal level so she did not qualify for additional help, we were SO wrong. Madilyn was severely behind and showed no "strengths", in Texas in order to receive SPED help you have to be able to test showing a strength in SOMETHING like match, comprehension, reading writing - that sort of thing. If you are in kindergarten like she was it is next to impossible to receive help if you can take care of yourself - as in feed yourself and get dressed. This was so insanely frustrating. She is now in 2nd grade, diagnosed with ADHD and Central Auditory Processing Disorder, Tongue Tied and possibly more labels we are still exploring. She is now receiving SPED help/inclusion/one on one time through school, she goes to speech twice a week, she is medicated (which helps a ton) and she saw a child psychologist and was tested for EVERYTHING, we do not get these results back until the first week of May. We have done everything we can possibly think of to help our little girl. We are FINALLY on the right track here and are so excited to see where this takes her, she is worth all of the struggles and we will NOT let Texas dictate whether or not she is worth the trouble. If it was up to Texas she would be fending for herself, passing each grade because of (No child left behind), she would be confused, angry, and shunned by her peers. It is this broken system we have that breeds crappy adults who were once kids and just needed a little more TLC that could have changed everything for them. I have SO much more to say on this subject but I will end with this, YOU are the advocate, YOU fight for your child, YOU investigate every angle and YOU stay on top of this because otherwise your child will be forgotten in the system.

Were kids required to be potty trained for the kids splash pad area? We're planning to have our 2.5 year old going next spring, and if he is anything like his brothers, it's going to be a battle.
@shadymilkman42 yes they are required. My sister ran into this problem, she potty trained her 1.5 year old in a weekend to get ready for her next cruise lol. She had her daughter wear a long shirt and no diapers and undies all weekend. My niece learned quickly she didn't want to wet herself and would go to the bathroom. I recommend that approach, wish I had done that with our 3 lol.
At the time of this video we did not have Amazon Associates set up, we do now therefore any thing purchased from the links found in the description of this video are monetized. Thank you and we appreciate your support! Happy Camping!
Hello, I am the wife here. I edited this video and kept the comments in because I thought it added humor. I can see from the naked eye how this comes across to some people. Him and I banter back and forth all the time but this particular day I had 2 Mikes Hard Lemonades and I NEVER partake because I don't like the taste but Mikes is all sugar so I was livin' a little. Him "Patronizing" me is really him toying with me because I wasn't 100% myself. He knew how much I needed to let loose and when I did we were both laughing at me for feeling great, he was happy for me. He was teasing me in this video for a lack of words knowing what I just explained. I edit all of these videos, I added the "system" comments because to me it added humor, something different videos are lacking sometimes. Him and I have been together for 24 years now, he does all of the cooking , he is a den leader in cub scouts, we have been to parent counseling when one of our kiddos was struggling so we would learn how to better help that child, he helps me around the house and he encourages me to drop the mom hat from time to time and go out with friends. I say this to show anyone feeling sorry for me that it isn't what it seems, we make a good team, he is a great dad and husband. Him and I do not air on the side of sensitivity so I can see how this video would look to some people without the background of us. If you happen to watch any of our other videos it will shine a better light on him/us. This insanely long comment is because a few people have mentioned he is belittling me, I have deleted those comments because he deserves better and to be seen better. This was just an unfortunate side effect to an otherwise great video (IMO). Happy camping!
