I won't disagree with you. Sadly for the rest of us the voting power is held by the area(s) that all see the worst of this. The rest of us just deal with the fallout. @@faheemabbas3965
As a European It's very surreal to see these situations. I have never seen anything like this here, and can't imagine nothing would be done about it. Here if you'd leave a car somewhere, especially all cut up, it would be gone within hours. Car without a plate? Gone. Similar if its a stolen car/plate. There are also many rules about how your property can look like, especially in neighbourhoods, and just littering it with stuff wouldn't fly.
its because europeans are so poor that even cars without wheels get stolen. People in usa are much wealthier where even the homeless have more than one car so nobody takes these broken cars and they stay around for much longer.
Yes, I thought this might be a bit dangerous actually. Nothing happened but with the people who keep stolen cars visibly around their houses I wouldn't take any chances. Things can go south pretty quickly and without warning.
@@effspot Please give us more details. Is this unincorporated land? If not, is there code enforcement or parkimg enforcement? Maybe try calling to see if they'll come. In Dalllas, parking enforcement comes within 2 hours sometimes quicker.
That’s where I live 😂😂😂😂. Yes it’s definitely the Wild West over here. Every street and every neighborhood has a couple tweaker houses we have to deal with. A tweaker once left me a pottery gift on my porch before he check to see if my garage door was unlocked 😂. That’s why my car has 5 anti theft devices and I conceal carry. Stay vigilant y’all 🫡.
That roach motel is a couple of blocks from my work. It was burned down a couple months back by meth squatters trying to cook it up in one of the abandoned rooms.
I’ve lived here for last 8 years, the entire state is a massive pick n pull yard - glad to say i’m moving out of the state here permanently this summer. this just highlights the clowns running this place..
I live outside of Tacoma, WA. This is south Tacoma. Yes some areas are bad but Tacoma also has some nice areas. WA state in general can be very trashy along with the nice.
@@effspotif you wanted to see something weird you should of hit Ruston way. Pretty nice part of town but I've seen many cars dumped and people living in RVs. North Tacoma doesn't have many campers. That was pretty much the heart of the trouble though where you where at. Hosmer is a place I would totally avoid if I had no reason to go there. Surprised I didn't see the Lexus. I work close.
I lived in Seattle from 1996-2020. The city REALLY started going downhill around 2014. Homeless numbers exploded, crime started increasing, garbage piling up. ……I went back to visit (for a minute!) in 2022 and the city was COVERED in graffiti, and the local news said over 300+ businesses had closed, or moved!! (along with almost HALF the police quitting!) …..I’m VERY GLAD I moved away!!!
Glad to here a fellow native got out at a great time. It continues to get worse and worse…sad to see a once beautiful place turn to absolute shit in a short period of time.
@@kylemills3070 …..Yeah, it’s sad to see, but the LOCALS up there keep voting for soft politicians who keep ENABLING the drug addicts, and criminals……RIDICULOUS!! 🤷🏼♂️🤷🏼♂️🤷🏼♂️
I'd stay clear of both the Oregon and Washington coast if any of the stuff in this video bothers you. You can find plenty of decent spots further inland in both states, granted there still run by the same people that are letting what's happening on the coasts, occur.@@JlnJck
Just visited Washington myself a few months ago, and can confirm it all pretty much looks like this... every block has that one random house with a huge car pile in front. No good cars either. (Flight Museum is really worth it though would go back to that anyday...)
I love that you documented this! I live here and always fail to convey to non-locals just how bad it is. It's something more out of Slab Town in BL2 than GTA.
Bro there’s so much content for your channel in West WA, Tacoma, Kent, Auburn, Renton, Seattle, SeaTac is just out of control. I live up in Everett and it’s also kinda crazy here but down there is like Fallujah 💀💀💀 Stay safe out there! Glad you’re up here documenting the craziness!
Living in Atlanta, you will see older trucks overload with pallets. What is expensive so empty pallets are worth money. Walmart paints their pallets blue so that they are not stolen
Gordon there are alot of Cartel chop shops in the south end. There was one behind my old shop. Swat raided them several times while I was at work. They built smuggling vehicles.
@@mexicanspecBack in 2014 when I still worked there. We watched Swat bring out 4 green garbage bags of meth, 3 green garbage bags of MDMA/Ecstasy, 10 green bags of Cannabis, 4 green bags of Coke and 6 of Heroine out of this house turned into a shop. That looked just like some of the places in the video. Each time Swat raided they used cellphone signal jammers. Each time they came on to the shops property , let us continue to work while they raided the place next door.. The above mentioned raid was the last one I was there for until I got injured / disabled from work..
When I was in Oregon there was a car flipped over on the side of the road that was just left there. They spray painted something on the car to indicate nobody was inside so people wouldn't stop to help. It was on the side of a busy highway and I was shocked between law enforcement, DOT, and just regular citizens they just decided it's okay to just leave there.
100% I've been in WA for most of my life and it's loaded with morons who don't get that you can't solve these problems with outreach and money. @@malooch
Eff , regarding the motor vehicle stealing of lic plates , wouldnt they know which ones have been stolen by simply computer tracking , which ones they cant find that are listed in their system ?
These were common sights back in the day around NYC except half of the cars would be fairly new & burned. Seen a number of them dumped along the highway😮 Looks like a good place to buy a classic project car cheap-towing auction?
We checked a lot of the "hotspots" and the city cleared a ton of them up after the new year hit. It's like LA, they sweep em up and they come right back.
Gotta understand these are meth heads stealing these cars, their brains are to fizzled and twizzled to think about what kind of engine a particular car has.
@TheReaper42069 I mean, it looks like junk now, obviously sitting on the lot all torn apart. It wasn't looking like this before. In my eyes, It can still be restored. Has a huge part support system. I have the same car in the same color with black interior but with the Turbo I6 engine. Mine is in showroom condition that makes the same power as Hellcats.
I know those roads well and you have flashed Tacoma's darker side(s).......actually a pretty cool town when the sun shines and you don't get those days when the old pulp mill sediment emits an odor known around as the "Aroma of Tacoma"
This is an awesome video Gordon, people complain about our big cities being bad but I’ve grown up in the bay area and lived in Oregon for part of my life and this video really shows it’s not just our big cities that are effected by this
Certainly not a picture of all of Washington, my parents sold their house 20 min north of Seattle for $1.4mil in 1 day in a bidding war..FOR CASH! Tacoma is a dump
Yeah i live in renton WA about 30min away from seattle crime is getting really bad up here some ppl getting shot on the freeway by other motorist for no reason
