The new Island looks how I would imagine the Earth to be eons ago. Lush forests, some plains and rivers and lakes. Absolutely gorgeous!!!

On my game there are actually THREE carchy spawns in my Volcano AND a Giga. Gone are the days of being able to just peacfully mine inside there. Really fun thing about ASA - I went to visit the volcano for the first time while it was raining and the cloud layer was below the top of the volcano. I could not get up top because it was complete whiteout when I flew up that high! I even got disorientated and almost got lost up in the clouds haha!

Phlinger is my go to when it comes to game play and where to build. Love this series and how tough it is. I miss this type of game play for Ark. Keep it up Phlinger and I am thoroughly enjoying this series!!!✌👊👍🙏

I feel like your talking volume is a bit too low compared to the game, I wish you could turn up your mic volume a bit. Some dinosaur noises or levelup music sometimes play over your speech and then at least I sometimes miss whatever you were saying. Aside from that it's been a blast watching yet another soloing the ark series, and it has a nice fresh coat of paint in the Ascended. The game has not changed too much but I had the expectation that it wouldn't change at all. Baby dinos, some topographical changes, building improvements and other bigger and smaller additions make the game a whole lot more appealing. Looking forward for you to solo yourself thru all of the island in the near future and the rest of the maps one by one when they release!

17:11 was like the first godzilla movies camera always panned away when getting to the juicy fights. Alpha raptor smacked titanosaur and right as the stomps coming phlingers turning the camera away! 😂😂😂😂😂😂

The shadows of the shadows are confused.😂 Also that carcia is a new spawn point. I've seen several people run into it already. Apparently they added a handful of new spown points for the bigger dinosaurs. So be careful.

I'm so curious to see the weather top at Footpaw Island. The Footpaw and Cragg's Island are great beginner spots. I made a base on the weather top which is the little flat topped hill/mountain on Footpaw Island once and it was a great way to get into the swamps from the South areas. Almost felt like a secret passage, I love that the Island has so many spots like this

Phlinger, could you do a quick tutorial on how to run water and electricity further then the reach of the intake/generator? It is a bit confusing.

Not sure if I like the mosh pit in its current form. Pride rock was a nice prominent lookout. Check out the glacier next to the mosh pit: they turned it into a tunnel system. I lost my first thyla of my current ASA game there, when I was purlovia'd while being chased by a wolf pack. Plus I died... but hey, red text! They either nerfed thyla's health or up'd pack damage, because those wolves shred now.

Love these new rocks on the seaside of giga mountain, i alwasy love building bases climbing up large rocks or side of mountains and having these on the seaside with a water pen is so awesome

I really appreciate the way you play and love the game so much. It’s easy to be consumed trying to optimise everything to the nth degree and forget to enjoy the journey and just how beautiful the game is. I’m playing along with your progress and pace and have found my love for the game again.

43:12 when i saw this for the first time not too long ago, i immediately thought phlinger must have lost his mind over this waterfall, and i was not wrong :) for my base spot this time, i decided for 50/50, but on the redwood side cliff :D but it was so hard to pick a spot!

I feel like with the improved building (water, power etc. too) and the updated map there are way more locations that work as a good long term base both early and late game. I been using pillars to build up off the ground on the side of cliff faces and such. it's worked out well, good visibility, height advantage etc. I started a little base on the old easy south 1 spawn and there has been two lvl 100 spinos on either side of the peninsula the whole time lol.

whne I first started watch the PP seasons way back I remember the base probably one 2-3 seasons ago that you built on the water fall closer to the mosh pit, I remmeber when you were being chased by a rapter and jumped off the ledge I laughed pretty hard and of course the area where you jumped ther was a spot on the cliff where you got stuck lol. I would try to spawn in the area when i started new character , now there doesnt seem to be any river rocks there i have been searching for river rocks and cant seem to find any at any locations I have been to.

I setup my base right now at the waterfall just south of the moshpit but I want to point out that sadly there are NOT a ton of river rocks under the river. In fact there are none.

Mixed feeling about the area around mosh pit... I love ASAs foliage but mosh pit and pride rock's area feels too overgrown to me

I hardly ever make comments and I want to start off by saying I love Phlinger's videos, BUT the new Ark just seems like the old Ark with better graphics. What I mean is, Phlinger already knows the map because its the same exact map. Sure there are terrane differences and trees are in different places. But the hunter cave is the hunter cave. The beach area is the beach area. I am sure there will be new dinos as well but feels like the same content. It will take Phlinger very little time to conquer this map because he has done it many times. I will continue to watch Phlinger's videos and like them because I find Phlinger very entertaining. I will not buy the new Ark due to the fact I play single player. What is the challenge in playing the same map again?

Ark acended shpuld of just been a texture patch or dlc. In truth they are reselling the game with better texture and functionality...how the game should of been
