Just gotta get out there man, don't let not owning the newest 4x4 stop ya. I've done overlanding trips in my 96 Tercel out to Rome, Oregon. I NOW have a 4wd but that was cause I encounter more mud and stuff in the pnw. There may not seem like many spots near ya, but once you explore Google maps you'll see. Safe travels man
Here goes #6! Beautiful places indeed! Youve enjoyed editing, and i truly enjoy watching! 8:50 to 9:00 beautiful conutry side! 10:30 to 11:30 just wow! Topo Topper for the win! Such a beautiful journey! Ive enjoyed all of it! Thanks for another epic one 🙏
Thanks for letting me know about this video in the comment you left me, another great video. I was at Toquerville Falls back in February on a Jeep trip. I remember getting to that same river crossing right after the falls and wondering like you did if I should continue that way or not, and I was in a lifted Rubicon Wrangler on 35's. There were a couple other guys there with Tacomas debating it as well. We all decided to continue together and I'm glad we did, it was an awesome time running it with them.
You and your wife are Jonny and Monica. My wife and I are Johnny and Monica. So I just had to subscribe. My buddy and I did Point Sublime on the north rim back in October. Awesome views.
Incredible videography, great video! I'm so happy I found your channel and cant wait to work through your old videos. Your production quality is top notch, and when your channel blows up, it will be well deserved!
Hey thank you so much for watching! Go tell your friends to subscribe to my channel and click the bell notification so you’re updated when I post a new video. Have a great weekend.😎🙏🏼
RU-vid recommend me one of your videos. Saw you had a Topo, so I clicked on it. I've since binged on a bunch of them. You have made great improvements in the last year! I really dig the buildout in your Mesa. A small group of us take a 7-8 day trip out to Utah every year. The 2021 trip we got rained on nonstop for like 3 days straight. I knew then that it was time to save up for a topper. I decided on the Badlander and ordered it about a year ago. Last years Utah trip was filled with rain as well. Got my Topo last November and have around 30-40 nights in it. I've always loved these trips, but it has made them so much more enjoyable! Keep up the good work! If you ever see a blue Turd Gen with a light grey Topo on it, flip me the bird lol
Thanks so much man, I’ve been trying to improve my quality and level up on my RU-vid game. The build out definitely is awesome and I just filmed a walk around video yesterday. The badlander is an awesome camper, haha sounds cool man I’ll give you some Jonny Taco stickers I usually hand them out on trail. Where you located? Message me on Facebook or Instagram we can chat more.
@@jonnytacooutdoors planning a Trip to Joshua tree National park and Utah mid October..I’m in Los Angeles county.. did some day trips in Big Bear area already!.. $300 for that drone? Good deal
Awww thank you so much! I’m just getting started. I’m really glad you enjoy the videos I’m working to get better every video. I’m post videos every Sunday. 🤛🏻😎
Nice little six part adventure series. Never been to any of those places. Hoping to get there over the next couple years. Got a new sub, I’ll be checking out the other videos. By the way liked the shirt with the excellent quote in the last scene of the canyon
@@jonnytacooutdoors idea is to remove the bed of my gladiator rubicon and build a camper on to match… gonna haveto build the jeep up first, doing full accuair lift to make it easier to level out…
Truly inspiring! Made me wanna re-plan my trip in 2 weeks lol. I've been going to all these spots pre-2020 but my gf hasn't seen any of them. Shes been all over moab, san rafael swell, Sedona, flagstaff and Colorado. Now I'm thinking maybe hit the good old local spots she hasn't seen. Thanks for the reminder how awesome these places are in my own backyard!
You got it, glad the video reminded you of the spots! I’ve yet to go to Moab , most of Utah even or Colorado! I’m sure those trips are coming though. 💯🙏🏼 hope you’ll be tuning in on Sunday mornings when I post new videos.
@jonnytacooutdoors right on man 👊🤘. I recommend stopping by san rafael on the way to moab/colorado. Epic overlooks! How did you guys like that north rim overlook? I hesitated sharing that trail on onx because it was so good! I have another trail/overlook I just submitted on onx called sublime point near that trail. But it's high up in the woods and a lot cooler temps. It starts in kaibab national forest.
@jonnytacooutdoors yup snow and dead fall. Definitely have a chainsaw and winch to move trees. Looking for forward to your moab RU-vid vids. Maybe I'll see you guys out there 🍻
I’m passing through Lancaster right now. Heading up north. Maybe I can catch you on the way back south before I fly home to Oregon. Thanks for sharing the video, brother!
Nice video you made, overlanding in a TC is more enjoyable than a jeep like vehicle you have to travel a little slower, more time to enjoy the journey.
Awesome video! Just stumble on your video last night, we just got back from out North Rim trip of 4 days and three nights. Where your last camp site was is where we were at. Very windy there and it was an hot one, but we got to see the helicopters drop in more people for the tubing trips. It was cool to see that I think while we were packing up we saw a total of 6 drop ins. I just subscribe to your channel can't wait to see whats next.
They’re front runner chairs. I love them also. I’ve listed most of the camping gear we use in the description. Check it out. Here’s the link to the chairs. www.amazon.com/Front-Runner-Expander-Tailgating-Powdercoated/dp/B00OI7HW84?crid=QACJKI9MH7P&keywords=frontrunner+chair&qid=1671399915&sprefix=gr,aps,319&sr=8-3&linkCode=sl1&tag=jonnytaco-20&linkId=fb76f8ca1553897e3307a72f7268db3c&language=en_US&ref_=as_li_ss_tl
Yes, very inspiring. I'll be out that way in September. Heading out from the northeast. You do a real nice job with your production in these vids. Hope you continue to pursue it. I know it's hard work, and very much appreciated. Will you be at Expo Mountain West? ❤❤
It definitely is a lot of work but lately I’ve set up my schedule where I’ve made the time to get the editing done and I appreciate your comment about my production I’ve been working to improve my video quality. This is my 7th video shooting with a dslr camera instead of my iPhone. I have many videos already uploaded and I hope you tune in on Sundays to watch. I do not currently have plans of visiting expo mountain west? Where is that one going to be located?
@@onasledoverland Colorado is on my bucket list! Never been. I’m using a DJI Mini 2 drone that I bought used and only paid $300 for. Thanks for being a subscriber. 🙏🏼
Your video inspires me to save my money to send my tundra from Germany to USA and see this amazing landscape. Can you tell me where this campsite is located?
@@tudatt 2 months definitely sounds awesome. You should totally try to rent an off-road vehicle somehow when you’re out here. Might be cheaper than paying for shipping plus gas.
Just found your channel. Great stuff. Can you tell me where you camped on the Grand Canyon. We are on our way there after 4 months exploring baja and working our way back to Canada. 🍻
Great job..this is awesome! Can you please tell me where this spot is my husband and I are talking a trip from Florida to the Pacific coast and plan on overlanding all the way there taking the roads less traveled and this spot would be perfect along the way....
“A Government Big Enough to Give You Everything You Want Is A Government Big Enough to Take Away Everything You Have”. By the way, awesome series! We’re heading that direction next summer and we hope to visit some of the places you shared with us. Keep it up with the awesome adventures!
Personally, I like to watch people cook food. But no, not every video needs cooking and I don’t always show my meals. Thanks for watching Tommy. I hope you’re doing fantastic.
