good vid mate, bought back a lot of memories for me, my old man Barry ran a graphic arts business called South Melbourne Art in the early to mid 90s with another young guy Paul. This was in the day when clubs used to have a lot of promotional material printed. From 93 to 95 I was always in these clubs, i was happy to hear that Martha is still around, a real OG. If you read this Martha, thanks for the free drinks and never making me line up, you always looked out for me :) Hope you are doing well!!!

The Underground in the 80s was the place when Brian Goldsmith ran it. Countless A list international celebrities used to hang there. Lucky enough to spin the decks there when I was 18 and it was still awesome. Metro took over when it opened in Bourke Street. Now King Street seems dead.

Bar20, Barcode.... I used to live in Southbank I nearly got shot by that 81 flog walking to work. Only found out what he did when they locked the city down. King Street is nothing like it used to be😂 Wild West sports saloon, full of Islanders, Tunnel in Little Bourke Street, Heat in the Casino ... Late 90's - mid 2010's was crazy. Walking along King St was like a 50/50 of will I get stabbed tonight 😂

@@Dannysrants "Yes your honor, I walked right past that massive bag of illicit substances, I swear", PS while doing CBD tours you can't not do Honky Tonks, had many good nights there, but by far the best was seeing 2 many DJ's playing on the grand piano/decks after initially getting KB on the door, but then one of my better looking mates arrived talked to the door bi*ch and got them to promise to let him and his crew in, then he returned with about 5 guys and we got in. More on the outskirts of the city was Dream, awesome dirty little raver club back in the day.
