In this episode, we head off to Norfolk.
The East coast has a growing grey seal population and at certain times of the year, you can visit the growing seal colony and observe the seal pups from a respectful distance.
We were shocked to see so many!
Having both grown up with the East coast being our ‘local’ seaside, we never saw anything like this growing up on our many visits.
Riki takes a trip down memory lane and Dora spends many pennies with some friends we meet along the way.
Storm Gerrit tries hard to ruin the trip, but we play it safe and seek out cover.

Love the seals 😍 imposter seal haha he was soon chased off. We stayed at Sutton Staithe and also enjoyed a nice meal there. Lovely walk along the water. Biscoff is life! Looks like you had a lovely time. We love Norfolk C x

Great video, we did the area a few years ago but never saw the seals. Its nice to see the volunteers roping off the area and keeping them as safe as can be.

Thank you for the lovely comment. Amazing as it was to see so many seals, the baby seals that hadn’t made it did break my heart and I wanted to run down and move the ones in danger away from the water! There were so many volunteers out in all weathers keeping the humans a safe distance away. More importantly they were also really generous with sharing information and educating people too.

Yes those poor little ones who couldn’t make it out of the high tides 😢 But overall the population is still growing ❤️ My cake was tip top!! ❤️‍🔥 brownie base with dark and white chocolate chips, then a caramel enrobed cornflake topping 🤤 We will be dancing on the runway 🛫again before you know it! Can’t wait 😜 xxx

Riki’s got my number, I’m obsessed with the weather forecast.😂 Glad he managed to get it all in on that last pub stop considering his length!😁 Those cakes looked lush, where were ours?🤔 My answer to hat hair is not to wear one 😆 if my ears are cold I wear ear muffs. That was a great few days with you guys, thank you for inviting us. ❤

Hahah we were very impressed with your weather updates and insight 🤓 Don’t flatter him, it wasn’t that tight 🤣🤣 He was a bit selfish with the cakes. He wasn’t sharing the Biscoff with anyone 😆 My hair is a lot if not controlled in high winds 💨 🌪️🤡 I had ear muffs on under the hat! But with the muffs, the hair and the wind it was all a bit too much! 🤣 We really enjoyed a chilled couple of days and must do it again soon xx

Love the video guys glad to see the Biscoff making a come back 😋 we've used the brit stops a couple of times its a great but can be a tight squeeze 😊. Can't beat the penny arcades 😜

He is addicted to anything Biscoff flavour! 🤣 They were blooming delicious after they thawed out a bit 😄 We do love a pub stop as it’s a great reason for a meal out. I don’t care how old you are. The 2p slots are such fun! 🤩

Lovely video watched it in the car waiting to board our ferry from Bilbao. We’ve never ventured over to Norfolk I’ll add it to the long list. I also like any sort of cake but Biscoffi is one of my favourites.

Thank you and I hope you’ve had safe travels? If you do get a chance to visit Norfolk during the seal pup season then we would definitely recommend it. There are so many places to see aren’t there? It’s hard to chose where next. Riki has a real weak spot for Biscoff!! 😂
