Today we walk through a collection like nothing I’ve ever seen. Ray Evernham, NASCAR Hall of Fame Crew Chief, has such a rich racing history to share. From Jeff Gordon’s Rainbow No. 24 NASCAR to the Dodge Charger Daytona that set the 200 mile per hour record, this collection is amazing. The entire day was made possible by Valovline, the Original Motor Oil. Huge shout out to them for connecting me with another member of Team Valvoline. Thanks for watching!

That's so awesome you got to meet Ray! He's the guy who helped Jeff impress Rick Hendrick. He was also the same guy Chad Knaus learned a lot from, which he used to help earn Jimmie Johnson 7 titles. Also gotta respect the hell out of someone who appreciates racing history enough and has the money to restore these classic racing cars to be as close to reproduction, like those who restore classic cars, who chase after original parts.

Ray ran with us at Flemington Speedway, before becoming a national champion with NASCAR Cup Series. I was the last person to interview Ray in victory lane after him winning a race. Flemington in the #2, park owned, modified. Just wanted to say, Ray was always the greatest to deal with, media wise. Always pumped, very knowledgeable, a great guy. He even brought a nascar newbie to visit us in 1992, Jeff Gordon. Keep on truckin Ray!!

I'm a HUGE NASCAR guy. For those who may not know, this man was the reason Jeff Gordon was Jeff Gordon. He was an absolute visionary when it came to aerodynamics in NASCAR, and is the catalyst to how cars look and teams work on them today. If you get a chance, look up the story of his infamous T-Rex car from 1997. Absolutely crazy. Ray Evernham is the man.
