Honestly, the bit of backstory it gives for SCP-035 makes a lot of sense given the charismatic and manipulative nature of the mask, if he used to be a leading politician of Alagadda before getting exiled it only makes sense.

I like the description of a "god-shaped hole" so much. It says so much and so little. It's just so impossible to imagine or understand.

Along the shore the cloud waves break, the twin suns sink behind the lake, the shadows lengthen in Carcosa. Strange is the night were black stars rise, and strange moons circle through the sky, but stranger still is lost Carcosa.

Seeing as the masks are from them (and is part of them, just like the yellow king) I wonder if the plague doctor is from this city and sees the corruption of the hanged king and wants to “heal” this influence? Just spitballing because I just don’t know.

You should check out the Exploring Series overview of the Wandsmen. It’s a pretty recent one, actually, and it’s always nice to hear about benevolent Groups of Interest in the festering darkness that is the SCP multiverse.

If you are into Lovecraftian lore, I highly recommend you watching Exploring Series Lovecreaft videos. He goes into detail about each of the cosmic horrors as well as how they influenced pop culture and society in general. I have zero doubt you’ll absolutely love them. They have a playlist on his channel so you won’t have to sift through all his recent videos to get to the videos.

If you play the most recent scp game that came out the Hanged King SCP is one you personally suffer through... and it's horrifying. (At the same time, I couldn't help but go "Fuck off." every time thing happened while dealing with the scp, especially when I knew pretty quickly, it was a cognito/memetic-hazard... and gods, mannequins are disturbing.)

18:39 - You're doing really well with this stuff, there's a lot to tie together and while "there is no canon," this Hanged King/Sarkite/Lovecraftian hub is based on a lot of other old writings. I don't know if you're into mysticism at all, but some of the names have been held for hundreds of years (if not more) as having power. The Demiurge mentioned here being one of them. Big Y traces all the way back to at least 1st century AD.

As someone else in the comments suggested, you should do SCP-5031: Yet Another Murder Monster. It was one of those breather videos that I suggested in another video.
