in the end of video, dont worry about your gopro, if you forgot it there for a month or longer youll get it back from cashier. so long as youre not in tallinn or near narva. i lost mine in competition and someone mailed it to my next mailbox in lithuania from saaremaa
WOW the drone footage of the lighthouse was beautiful! Hiiumma looks like a stunning island! The beaches, the memorial, the rock field - you two covered a lot of ground on the island. I'm impressed :) I really enjoyed your summary of the memorial as well. Very sad but good of you to share.
It looked like a full day of adventure for you guys. I hadn't heard of that ship wreck until this video, I like the tradition of visitors adding a stone to the memorial. Beautiful drone footage of those lighthouses. And paradise beach looked so nice!
You two really did explore the island! A load of rocks in a forest sounds like something we would want to see 😂 The view from the beach bar at the end is so pretty!!!
Oh wow that’s beautiful! So unspoilt! Love the lighthouses the one in Kopu looked like a cathedral tower! Such beautiful beaches too! Laughed about it being SO ‘busy’! Great drone footage - as usual! Love it! Oh & chain that Go-Pro to Craig will you!?!? We want more videos!!!! Thankyou!
Kopu is a pretty unique looking lighthouse, guess that’s the way they built them in medieval times🙂 yes we need a chain for the GoPro as that was the scariest moment when we thought we’d lost the camera and entire days footage! 😅
@@TideKnotTravellers for estonians its busy when you meet more than 3 people in day, quite same as finns. youll get used to it, we love our time alone and in nature
@@TideKnotTravellers you may want to visit taevaskoja when you are in south estonia, taevaskoja kiidjärve matkarada a good track where to get youre head clear and enjoy what people around here like from estonia, disclaimer bring water and sandwich with you, youll need them ;)
The story behind the ferry memorial is so sad. I really appreciate how you explain the history. It makes it much more meaningful for us. And the red lighthouse is amazing. You captured some amazing footage! 🥰
Guys, what an incredible video! We absolutely love the information you give us and your videos are so well put together! What a stunning place paradise beach is! Thank you so much for sharing guys
Ok besides the creepy bunkers and the super sad ferry accident it looks like such a beautiful day!! Love all the history you shared. Great vlog guys 💛💛
Yellow sunshine shirt seems like it helped shine your day! Takhuna Lighthouse is looking awesome. The beach sides of Talinn are very nice. The ship wreck story is very sad though, never knew about it. Perfect way to end the day, cheers 🍻
I love watching vlogs about hiiumaa because I live here and it feels so weird to see all those people I know and have seen bad the fact that you once filmed infront of my house is crazy!
So beautiful, forest and water... I Remember Estonia ferry tragedy also there's a good film about it! Wilhelm Gustloff was the most tragic sink ever in Europe 5xmore ppl died than Titanic, its a shame its not very known tragedy...
Tadas C had no idea there was a film about the Estonia ferry, it’s such a tragedy. Yes Wilhelm Gustloff was the deadliest maritime disaster ever😢 but it was intentional (by the Soviets) and so not a peacetime loss like Titanic, MS Estonia and Doña Paz - which is the largest peacetime loss.
@@TideKnotTravellers yes definitely there is a film coz I've seen it. Remember very well on the news I was 9 Yr of age it was horrible... I can just memorise that night 😕 my1th trip abroad was when I turned 18 from Riga to Stockholm it was 13th of December huge storm, boat was out of control everybody puckiing... Some Swedish person came to me and said I've been upto the captain he said we are going down... Jesus what a creapy experience that was. All could think was Estonia ferry...
@@TideKnotTravellers not fun for sure, I always got this respect for force of nature, not keen of the sea at all unless its carabean paradise not cold dark baltic 😆😐😄
That’s interesting. We read that the parts for it came from Paris and noticed a lot of Parisian links in Hiiumaa including the mini wooden Eiffel Tower!
Did you went to Saaremaa? Nooo!!! Weird people live there! We (Hiiumaa people) call them "kenad" what means "nice" or something, impossible to translate. Anyhow, we (Hiiumaa, and also Saaremaa people) have a lot of jokes about each other. Like... "Why Saaremaa people go to the beach when there is lightning and thunderstorm?" "Because they think, Hiiumaa people started to take pictures of them."
